However, it wasn’t too much of a problem for me because the writing still shines through. It did make me seriously consider offering my services as an editor, though, because this story deserves a more polished presentation. That said, the story and the writing still manage to captivate.
I can definitely recommend this to anyone who prefers their yuri to be character-driven rather than plot-heavy and is willing to put in a bit of effort to get past the translation quality. Man I remember reading this here around 3 years ago when I was still very new to webnovels. I think this was rank 50-60 back then.
I recall that this is a really generic power fantasy comprised of almost every korean cliche from whatever broken parts of my memories I have left of this novel.
It was still enjoyable for the me of back then because I hadn't really read much of this genre and was actively looking for these 'leveling' stories. I think I left it somewhere around 250s.
One thing I vividly remember from this novel is that the nature of mc was pretty ruthless and actually thought himself as a hero of justice or something. Also no one can convince me that this thing hasn't copied plot points from Solo Leveling, it's not about the necromancer, leveling and gates part but the side characters cast and even the way they interacted with each other.
