This book has such good character growth and has kept me hooked till the last chapter published. There’s so much more left to uncover- what the Jade meant to Jade, her early life, whatever happened to Neve, Gemma and Melvin, who’s taken over the Severin household, how was Lloyd dealt with,

The book is decent, falling somewhere between average and above average. It caters to readers who enjoy delving into the mechanics of a story or appreciate authors' meticulous research. However, those seeking grand-scale fantasy or intense drama might find it less engaging. The reincarnated-as-a-mob trope isn't groundbreaking, but it deviates from typical mobster antics by focusing on the intricate details of armies and logistics within a high-fantasy setting. The concept and plotlines are commendable, but the execution could be improved.
Characters are simplified to make the protagonist seem intelligent, which is a mild inconvenience compared to other subpar novels. Basic tactics and common knowledge receive praise, akin to the historical appreciation for the simplicity of Sun Tzu's "Art of War" due to the incompetence of those in power.
Unfortunately, the novel's biggest drawback lies in excessive information dumps showcasing the author's research. While these sections serve to emphasize the complexity of mundane background elements, they become tiresome when they take up a third or more of the text. The accuracy and quality of these dumps are uneven, with liberties taken, particularly in military and noble hierarchy descriptions.

The storytelling has shown significant promise, and I believe there's a strong potential for it to evolve into an exceptional piece as the narrative unfolds. This novel has captivated me with its emotional authenticity.
