The story starts off quite normally but turns quickly into a magical adventure filled with amazing fantasy and plot twists. I am genuinely curious as to how the main character will interact in his world. Looking forward to more chapters in the future.

Shadow Slave is by far the best Light novel you will find on the Internet. If you are looking to fully immerse yourself into a story this is the one for you. The world building, character development, power system, villans, and plot are all each the best I have seen and I couldn’t get enough of it. As someone who has read close to 1000 different light novels, most seam like garbage to me now and I will forever feel like somthing is missing in them as I compare them to this novel. I will not spoil anything and sincerely hope that you pick this novel up and read it and watch as all the puzzle pieces fall together as the story goes on. I hope you read and find yourself asking questions about the story and predict what may happen only to be right or often completely thrown off just as I was. This was an incredibly enjoyable story and the only one I have ever found myself being willing to pay the author to keep it going, along with downloading this app to write the review. GuiltyFree you have done an incredible job with this and I sincerely wish you the best as this story is a piece of art. Please continue to work on it as myself, and I assume many others, are eager to see how our characters will develop. Thank you! ;)

Honestly, this is a great novel. The bold harem aspect may be off putting to some, but I am actually enjoying it this time as it is slightly well written. The female characters have some sense of distinctness, and that is the author’s credit. The writing quality has never declined, or at least translations haven’t. Its a great read when you have nothing to do.

the only bad thing about this novel is when a character by the name of "Anna" appears in the story: a hoe over 80 years old with a high card level (aka higher cultivation level) who was sleeping with thousands of people over the years and taking the MC hostage for more than 300 chapters because she liked him.
So the MC was accused of stealing a super relevant technique. He was not tortured and they chose to keep him imprisoned and fed, without supervision. The ideal would be to justify this with: It is a Buddhist sect that preaches non-violence, so there is a prison that is overcrowded and the MC is poorly supervised because monks spend time training in meditation and him learning the way of buddha in prison is not negative. Or that the MC is from an elder's family and for the sake of preserving the male lineage he will be locked up until the elder comes out of seclusion and negotiates. Or my favorite there is a constant government spy hunt on the sects, but the government spies stole an object, and the technique is a false flag, the MC imprisoned by a false accusation obtains the object that actually has a technique inside.
