I believe that the chapters we've read have been outstanding, and perhaps my perspective is slightly biased compared to others. However, I feel that the novel has been somewhat unfairly judged. It stands out as one of the more realistic isekai stories, depicting how characters interact and conduct themselves in society, emphasizing that not everyone will defend others, especially against the nobility or those above them. The plot unfolds with Rio being ostracized due to his dark hair and common background, trying to navigate life at the academy after rescuing a princess. Initially, he faces bullying and isolation. What I appreciate is that the protagonist's character development is well-paced, and readers, including myself, can easily empathize with him. Despite his somewhat overpowered nature, Rio remains earnest and caring, tackling his own challenges with determination. His genuine connections with others, including heartwarming reunions, make for engaging storytelling.
So far, I've truly enjoyed the story. It's exceptionally well-written, and I can sense the depth of emotions from the female lead. Unlike many other novels where the protagonist tries to justify or hide their past mistakes, she owns up to her flaws and admits that she was wrong in her previous actions, which I appreciate.
Hmm yea he is pretty much a lone warrior. But he does take help during the wars. He is a great commander , which is evident on how he uses his army

Overall it can be taken as slow chapter-wise. But the protagonist is still overpowered. Till the point I have read I don't think I have seen him getting defeated.
Is it just or the author has a problem naming chapters.
For example Chapter 201: Returning to Dayao (they didn't even reach the borders of dayao in the chapter)
And I was thinking the have excaped the great Xia empire.
A lot more chapters has bad naming.
