I wonder if the role were reversed & Ace's father/mother have beaten Aurora for years beaten her almost to death how would have Aurora felt if Ace still tried to protect them like Aurora always tries to protect her dear father(child abuser)?We can't ignore what Ace went through just bcz he is a man.

The story is endearing and charming, but honestly, I found it quite dull after Chapter 27. The main character, Ting, seems to throw a lot of tantrums for someone his age, which can be rather grating at times due to his immaturity. There's a bit of instant love, heartwarming moments, and minimal conflict, plus cute date scenes that might appeal to those seeking a fluffy read. So, if you're looking for a feel-good escape, I wouldn't discourage you from giving it a try.
