The title and summary suggest this is a tale about a mermaid and a general... That’s what I was hoping for. However, after seven chapters, it feels more like playing an otome game with "yes" or "no" choices and watching the interactions. I’m not sure when the mermaid story actually begins, but I’m too impatient to click through the rest of the chapters to find out.
This is a fanfic, don't be surprised if the timeline gets really messed up later on. But that won't be the only thing that makes you think, "That's not how it was."
If you love Marvel, you might cringe...
If you're just looking for something to read, this is good—not great, but good.
