Really enjoyed this book! Great work!
please don't make this story too long.. no one will read your book once you reach 100 or more chapter. you know why they charge 90 coins per chapter. its ridiculous.
Good story. I enjoy reading it
They sound absolutely delicious
I really you would finish this series it is really good and want to see how you are going to end it.
Wow, best book I read in this app.. it's such a roller coaster ride, with family, happiness and tiers. And with just nice drama. love love love this book
Dark and sensitive subject but very interesting story.
The contrast between settings in these chapters is striking. You've got Yin Youyue waking up in a 'crude and dilapidated room' with thin bed curtains and a faint breeze — she's already been relegated to the lowest status despite being the legitimate eldest daughter. The imagery of the 'filthy beggar's clothes on the floor' and the disheveled state she's forced into paints a vivid picture of how thoroughly she's been stripped of dignity. Then you have the Governor's Mansion itself — 'over a dozen exquisite courtyards,' luxurious, imposing. But even within that luxury, Yin Youyue is treated like an outsider. Servants ignore her completely on her way to the kitchen. The world-building here tells you everything about her social position without needing exposition dumps. The scene where the servants kick down the door and discover the 'indistinct figure of the naked man on the bed' is almost cinematic. You can picture it — the dramatic lighting, the disgusted faces, the moral outrage on display. And then the inner chamber where the man lies half-conscious, watching her silhouette from behind... that visual of him being literally powerless while she takes control is powerful imagery. The hidden inn room where Xing Moyuan recovers is described with such care — 'dimly lit,' 'faint light shone on his deep, handsome features, as if gilding them with a golden glow.' The author is clearly building him up as someone extraordinary, and the contrast between how he appeared to the Liu family (a beggar) and who he really is (a deity-like figure) is perfectly executed through these setting descriptions.
So glad you are continuing the series. Hopefully they'll be a book on Beta Dominique as well and maybe with all the kiddies.
Great book
She should not take those drugs behind his back. Tell him that she dont want a child yet, seriously. Atleast she should try to conversate about it rather than using thosse drugs to prevent pregnancy
