the story is interesting and gives you back story..but i found it funny because it ends so soon..it hungs you and wondering for the whats next..it looks like the author is too lazy to elaborte some story and decided to end the story short..i hope there is book 2...please...️...️...️......

I need to talk about the dialogue in these chapters because WOW. First off, Yin Xuzhao's voice is immediately distinguishable and it's glorious. The man has ZERO filter and the author leans into it completely. "I saved you, yet you still treat me with this attitude. Isn't that a bit unreasonable?" This is the kind of line that made me laugh out loud because it's so absurdly self-centered while also being genuinely pathetic. And then he follows it up with the three-thousand-character letter reveal and I was wheezing. Yu Xiao's dialogue, on the other hand, is cold and cutting in a completely different way. "You really don't understand the Xianjun. He wouldn't even remember someone as insignificant as you." This line is supposed to be an attack on Yin Xuzhao, but it's actually Yu Xiao projecting his own deepest insecurity. The dialogue here is doing so much heavy lifting—every line sounds like an insult but actually reveals the speaker's vulnerability. The best dialogue moment has to be this exchange: "He likes to watch you?" Chu Xuyun shook his head seriously. Although Yin Xuzhao was indeed good-looking, he wasn't looking, really… at least not closely. This is comedy gold. Chu Xuyun's internal monologue is so deadpan and practical that it completely undercuts the romantic tension, and it's hilarious. The author clearly enjoys writing Chu Xuyun as this emotionally detached protagonist who just wants to eat and go home. The sign language sequences are also interesting from a dialogue perspective. Since Chu Xuyun can't speak, the author has to find creative ways to communicate his thoughts, and it works really well. The tanuki demon translating for him is a clever device that also provides comic relief: "It seems the Xianjun is gesturing. He says… because he has unfinished business in the Demon Palace." I also love how the author uses dialogue to create dramatic irony. When Yin Xuzhao says "I still have to thank you for helping me remember," he thinks he's won something, but the reader (and Yu Xiao) understands that Chu Xuyun remembering him is actually a bad thing. The dialogue here is layered with meaning that the characters don't fully grasp. The fight scene dialogue is sparse but effective. "Die." "Shut up." "You dare!" These short, sharp exchanges keep the action moving while still revealing character. Yin Xuzhao is all aggression, Yu Xiao is all cold control, and Chu Xuyun is just… hungry and confused. One thing I found slightly uneven is that some of the internal monologues verge on over-explanation. Yu Xiao's thoughts about being unworthy and self-deception are well-written but a bit lengthy. That said, given the emotional intensity of the scene, I can forgive it. The dialogue outside the head is so strong that the internal moments don't drag. Overall, the author has a clear ear for different character voices and uses dialogue to advance both plot and character development simultaneously. That's not easy to do, especially in a scene this chaotic.
