My novel, Glory in Jamie’s Punch, is fast-paced and full of raw emotion. It’s all about Jamie’s journey through boxing, where every fight brings him closer to his dream. If you’re into intense action, big struggles, and underdog stories, this one’s for you. I upload 2-3 new chapters every week, so there’s always something fresh to read
Great writing, well thought out and delivered.
what can i say? i enjoyed the story so far. interesting background, power system, enjoyable dialogues and well, knights, swords, hordes and battles! so, all in all, quite good. looking forward to how the story progresses.one suggestion though; try to change the way people speak a little. for example, nobles could speak in a more sophisticated manner compared to knights and commoners, yknow by not shortening the words with apostrophes but writing the words out, something that the snobby elite also do in our world?. for commoners, a smidge of broken english or making them use more shortened words like comin' etc. And for knights something in between. it would give your story a new level of divide between nobles that were trained from birth on how to behave and present themselves properly and the commoners who weren't trained in the ways of pompous mannerism. just a thought.
Revenge motivation from the get-go. I'd say fast-paced. I love it.Great writing by the way.
I was impressed by this complex and historic piece written by Bakhtawar Mehr Saeed. It was a pleasure to read such a great novel. I admire the writing style of the author.
so far so good. like the plot. at least humanity has a chance
good story but please give more chapters
Hey bro please don't abandon this work and keep updating frequently, this novel is very good ?
Not a bad read, I find it enjoyable yesThe exposition to begin with tho kinda threw me off other than that it's good. Looking forward to see how the story develops to intrigue me
I need to address the elephant in the text: the translator's note that appears mid-chapter. "Looking back, I realized that most of the novels I started were never completed... So, going forward, most new projects will be AI-translated and will be completely free to read..." This is a MASSIVE pacing rupture. One moment we're in Jolene's world, Raymond just gave her a camera, Ben is being a brat, and then—BAM—the author breaks the fourth wall to talk about AI translation and premium content. It's jarring, it's confusing, it completely shatters the immersion I had built up. But here's the thing: after that rupture, the story picks back up and the pacing returns to its normal rhythm. The transition from Raymond's line about his parents taking photos of Ben, to Jolene's flustered response, to the next morning's school enrollment—this flow is smooth. The author knows how to pace a domestic scene: small moments, dialogue, internal reflection, then movement to the next beat. The chapter structure itself is interesting. We move from evening (bedtime story) to night (Raymond comes home) to next morning (school enrollment) to afternoon (piano school, bookstore) back to evening (bedtime again). It's a full day compressed into a few chapters, and the circular structure—ending where we began, with bedtime reading—gives it a satisfying sense of completeness. Jolene's novel outline section is where the pacing gets most interesting. She goes from seeing a movie advertisement to having a complete story concept in her head. The author doesn't slow down to explain this creative process; we just get the outline, fast and efficient. It's a burst of energy in an otherwise calm section. The Ben photo resistance scene is another pacing highlight. It starts tense (Ben refusing), escalates (Jolene's manipulation with his brother's camera), and resolves with him going quiet and thinking about his parents. The emotional arc within a single scene is well-managed—the tension builds and releases naturally. Overall, the pacing is solid. The translator's note is an unfortunate interruption, but the actual story content flows well, with good variation between quiet domestic moments and bursts of creative energy.
The first few chapters started with a bang but I want see more of the Mc's anger power and interactions with the gods but I'm liking what I'm reading .
I have mixed feelings about the characters. The MC and ML's interactions are interesting. He thinks very much like an apocalyptic survivor and I get where he is coming from. Aria, on the other hand, seems to lose her military and medical training after getting flicked into the future. Lots of training builds muscle memory, but it seems like her brain and body aren't in sync or her engrained instincts never kick in. Perhaps they will once she gets a moment to familiarize with her surroundings? I better read some more ??
