Did he look like this whenever he gazed at Hou Wei Yan?
"I am happy that you could take all this but, I still can't Jessie. I want to live. I want live for very long. I just… I want to live." His voice broke. One can easily tell that he was trying to contain it within himself.
He gelled his hair and was looking very decent as he gave a nod to himself while looking in the mirror and exited his apartment building.
"We shall see, be a dear and call to the camp so they know we are not trying sneak up on them."
"Well, maybe only half a million, then." I could wait to ask some of my more specific questions. "But for now, I'll answer some."
"So, dear aunt, I hope you will let him do it to us both. I can do to you what you have just done to me, because before we had him and Harry, aunt and I used to amuse ourselves in that way. Aunt is immense in that particular, she could put it a little way into me, and gave me great pleasure, and she said that I sucked it better than either her late husband or any of half-a-dozen schoolfellows who used to amuse each other; so, dear aunt, you must let me do it to you while Charlie is in me, and then you will do it to me while he is in you. Only fancy how nice it will be."
Thank you for reading n voting GW all this while. Please continue reading our other works, ASTHW. Although the plot is a bit slow, it won't disappoint you as we're entering an exciting phase of the novel soon haha.

Honestly, from Gold to useless piece of ****The author lost ideas and got stumped This was supposed to be a System and Apocalypse style genre, but strayed out of the way amd become xianxia mixed sci fi. Sigh.
Let me just say this: the dialogue in these chapters is sharp, and Jiang Chuji's way of speaking is genuinely fascinating. When she explains her case to her brother, she doesn't ramble or beg. She's calm, logical, almost clinical. "I had only been back at the Chancellor's Manor for half a month. I spent ten years in a temple... How could I possibly do something as bold and reckless as stealing Grandmother's jade bracelet?" That's not a cry for help—that's a legal argument. And then she stops. She doesn't over-explain. She lets him connect the dots himself. The narration even tells us: "Sometimes, saying less is better than saying more, and saying nothing is better than saying less." That's the author winking at us, telling us this girl knows exactly what she's doing. But then she also knows when to perform vulnerability. The tears, the trembling voice, the request for him to stay—it's all calculated, but it's also genuine because she IS vulnerable. Meanwhile, Jiang Yanchuan's dialogue is much more clipped, practical. "Can you sit up? Drink this medicine." "Never mind, I'll feed you." He's not poetic, but his actions speak louder. And Concubine Zhou? Her dialogue is all layers—sweet on the surface, threatening underneath. She offers Fuling silver, praises her for caring about her mistress, then immediately pivots to demands. "If I call you over for questioning in the future, come as asked, and you won't lack rewards." That's a threat wrapped in a compliment. Every character has a distinct voice, and the author doesn't let them blend together.
