I love this book already, the start got me intrigued. good going author, added it to my library.

I need a moment. I need several moments. The bathroom scene in Chapter 5 is the single most devastatingly romantic thing I have ever read and I am not okay. Qin Zelin walks in on Cen Miao—bare, wet, water droplets sliding down his collarbone, chest, waist—and his internal monologue is 'Little monster… trying to tempt me.' LITTLE MONSTER. This man is trying to maintain his cold CEO exterior while his Adam's apple is rolling uncontrollably and he is literally escaping the conversation. He goes back to his own room and takes a COLD SHOWER. A COLD SHOWER. The text says 'The cool flow continued, but it could not extinguish the heat burning between his lower abdomen.' I AM DYING. And then Cen Miao, completely unaware that he just wrecked an entire man, goes to sleep on the sofa because he fell asleep watching TV. Qin Zelin comes downstairs, sees him curled up with empty jerky bags, and his first thought is 'Why didn't he go upstairs to sleep?' Not 'I'm attracted to him.' Not 'I want him.' Just... why is he sleeping on the sofa like a good little husband should. The cheese scene is also devastating in its own way. Cen Miao eats only the cheese off the potatoes, Qin Zelin makes him eat vegetables, and then quietly tells the maid to give him MORE cheese. It's this tiny, domestic moment of 'I'm disciplining you but also I will spoil you endlessly' and it's the most romantic thing. Then the 'Daddy' incident happens and Qin Zelin has to walk back upstairs to find Cen Miao loosening his collar and looking at his chest muscles while half-asleep. The romantic tension in this text is so thick you could cut it with a knife. And Cen Miao has no idea. He just thinks Qin Zelin is 'so stingy' for not letting him eat unlimited snacks.
