Thanks, guys, for your supports and honest reviews.
We've finally come to the end of this story. I hope you enjoy your reading.
I'm working on a new story. It'll be live soon.
great book
Really loved reading your books, Just wanting to know When The Denver Alpha is going to be finished.
The story was nice. I would love to read more about the main characters happy life. Also about Selena, Noah and Diana. If toy keep your promise and upload the epilogue or bonus chapter would be great.
Okay, I need to unpack something that's been bothering me in the best way — the symbolism of heat and cold throughout these chapters, and honestly? It's everywhere. Bianjing has been experiencing this relentless spring dampness, this biting chill that makes people shrink their necks against the cold. The city itself feels like it's suffering from some kind of spiritual coldness — corruption, money laundering, criminal enterprises operating in the shadows. And into this cold world comes Yaoyao's medicinal spicy hot pot. This isn't just food; it's resistance. It's warmth fighting back against the chill. The beef tallow base wards off cold, the spices dispel dampness, the herbs nourish the body. This is literally medicine disguised as comfort food. And who benefits most from it? Bai Qi, whose stomach has been plagued by chronic pain for three years. The girl who runs a street-side eatery is healing the very person who's been watching over her. There's a beautiful reciprocity here that goes beyond romance — it's about mutual survival. Then there's the contrast with Zui Xian Lou's fake version. They use rapeseed oil, cheap spices, and their hot pot might taste good initially but it destroys your stomach. This is such a clear metaphor for the Chen shop and Lin Chongyuan's operation — surface prosperity masking rot underneath. The real question the story is asking is: what nourishes and what merely satisfies? What's authentic and what's counterfeit? The red-wood treasure box containing Yaoyao's notes, the wolf-head token Bai Qi rubs obsessively, the vermilion brush marking names in dossiers — these objects all carry symbolic weight. They're anchors, talismans, reminders of what matters in a world that's constantly shifting. The story keeps coming back to this idea that warmth — whether physical, emotional, or moral — is the ultimate act of defiance against a cold, corrupt world.
I'm still reading the book though slow. but I'm glued to it. I prayed to be a pen lord like you.
Loving this story!
The storyline is great. It's just the sentence construction that needs a bit of work. But I love the story. Well done
Could we please have some updates!!! I am so loving this story and I am anxiously awaiting updates...
so far I lav Ivy’s story…not a fan of sharing so I didn’t bother reading the first book, should separate them though
I’m only 15 chapters in and this story is so damn good! These characters seem wild and fun and I already like most of them. Especially, Nora. This story seems to be well written, so I can’t wait to get into all the drama and chaos that I know is coming.
I can’t wait for more chapters to this book. It’s really getting good. I hope it’s updated really soon with more than one chapter at a time.
