But the REAL plot twist came later. When Guan Xuxu looked at Sister Wu's son's photo and said 'this person shouldn't have this kind of face'—I literally sat up in bed. She divines his birth chart and discovers he was supposed to be born with an 'innate foolish fate' but has all Eight Wisdoms intact. Then the pieces start clicking: Sister Wu didn't just steal wealth aura, she STEAL INTELLIGENCE. From another child. And that child? The Song family's young lady who became intellectually disabled eight years ago after a horseback riding accident. Except—did she really fall off a horse? Or did Sister Wu take her intelligence and leave her empty? The author is threading these mysteries so carefully. One plot point leads to another, and by the time Jiang Su blurts out 'Uncle Song's silly girl!' I was already connecting dots. The pacing here is also solid. The scene starts with the wealth aura confrontation, moves to the lottery reveal, then spirals into the intelligence theft mystery, and ends with the Guan family scheming in the background. Multiple threads woven together without feeling rushed.
