first impressions after reading the first 50 chapters. So far an interesting story about a man who 'accidentally' found a cultivation technique that allows him to live for a very long time. After a long time of cultivation and pushing earth technology to an higher from the shadows he is discovered by some powerful creatures who guide him to leave earth and go to a dimension where humans cultivate. He is 'guided' to join a sect and start his cultivation journey.
I like that the story is told in a different way than the cultivation stories from Chinese writers (different pacing, different starting point and route towards the furst cultivation steps, etc) while still being a cultivation story. It gives the story a fresh feeling (starting as sci-fi and changing into cultivation in a way not seen very often). What I also like is that although the mc is starting out with the mc receiving all kinds of 'plot armor' and lucky encounters it is told in such a way that it is not just luck that will make the mc strong, he earns it with smart choices. And on this platform one of the best things I could say is that so far I haven't seen an 'idiotic young master' type of character (I hate those characters bc they often get themselves and their family killed for the dumbest of reasons. They are called cannon fodder for a reason but more often than not it doesn't do the image of the mc in the eyes of the reader much good. An antagonist who acts out of logical reasoning make the main character look better when he defeats them)
Not everything is great but so far I have only found minor things and not things like where the story and character development breaks world building. Think of things like sound in space, small mistakes that are also often made in movies and animation. And another thing that sometimes can be better is the distinction between narrator and character. When is the narrator talking about the mc, when is the narrator talking in general. In other words small things that could often be fixed with a slight restructuring of some sentences or paragraphs.
The story is interesting, plays out in an interesting world and told in an entertaining way. I hope it can hold this energy in later chapters too.
This was one of my first novels I read on here so I kinda forgor to write a review.ha. ok. now... this has one of the most amazing world building aaand just TOO GUD.. ok yea I love everything about and the only reason why I didnt complete it was because.... Right nou.
Waiting for a new chapter. I hope there is a mass release soon.
loved how the story started , as I was reading it was like I was there watching everything happening
Every start has a normal flow but then if you are patient enough you will find out how lazy u were to leave this book several times. This book is slow at first but it has a great potential that u must not ignore. The plot is interesting as it shows the character's development and great world building.Over all, it has good writing style.good work, author
Too many repeats, had tp go back several times, annoying. Brother sister friends are out of loopy road, they are there but how do they look like and what are their character like. And isnt the sister way too exyreme and foolish. Dont make sense most of the time, Not enough detailing and presentation. U made the wine but can't there some word play there
I really liked this story at the start all the way up to when he fled from the brothel. That's when the story did a nose dive and went subpar. The main character Mao used to be scheming and cunning. Now he acts like an idiot with 2 brain cells. The chapter I'm up to he takes out some divine quality ingredients in front of his enemies family and his grandma-in-law who has a questionable personality. I mean how naive can you get? There are a ton of things that just keep piling up, I can't read on anymore. I just wish the author made his personality consistent instead of this mess
Not gonna read this for now, but, I feel like the Omni in mastery is unnecessary. Since Omni is a very strong and serious word. Omnipotence, omnifarious, omniscient etc etc. Someone with Omni-Mastery would essentially master anything and everything instantly. If you see someone swinging a sword at you, you would know exactly how to deflect, avoid or parry the strike. Why? Cuz you've just instantly mastered swordsmanship and control of your own body & mind. Just, don't mess with the word Omni unless you mean it in every sense of the word, since that's exactly what it means.
well the story's great and I don't see the usual cultivation where "your courting death " lol ???? .wordcountwordcountwordcountwordcount pls don't drop pls don't drop wordcountwordcountwordcountwordcount pls don't drop pls don't dropwordcountwordcountwordcountwordcount pls don't drop pls don't dropwordcountwordcountwordcountwordcount pls don't dropwordcountwordcountwordcountwordcount pls don't drop pls don't dropwordcountwordcountwordcountwordcount pls don't drop pls don't drop plswordcountwordcountwordcountwordcount pls don't drop pls don't drop don'twordcountwordcountwordcountwordcount pls don't drop pls don't drop dropwordcountwordcountwordcountwordcount pls don't drop pls don't drop
The concept is great. Unfortunately, the protagonist is both short-sighted and shallow. After finding out he has the power to not only digitalise (able to enter any software as a digital life form) but also to materialise anything from within to the real world...he decides to open a wholesale vegetable business. Not only is this subpar idea, but he's putting himself at risk - no sourcing, no transaction evidence, no storage...he has nothing to explain how he obtained his veggies. He just asks clients of his to 'promise not ask him.' Oh god.As for the MCs shallowness - he uses his powers to stroke his ego by acting the hero, to casually slap faces and of course can't forget wooing 'beauties.' Sigh...
