It's quite relaxing reading this story. If you're hoping for some backstabbing, revenge, or anything of that sort, you won't find it here.
The story begins when the main character (MC) is a baby, and we follow him growing up in a safe and loving environment. You might find the beginning a bit fluffy, but it’s definitely worth it, especially if you enjoy reading while relaxing with a cup of tea. The story itself isn’t particularly heavy or complex, which is a plus.

It's a bad novel where starting seems normal but OK but as more and more chapters increase, you feel its getting more and more hollow. The worst part for me was when golden core requires him billions of spirit stones to improve. To nerf the system, the author came with this except it just doesn't make sense. He just exponentially increase spirit stones needed to decrease his cultivation speed.
Either way, it was getting way too cringy. There were some funny jokes every once in a while but not enough to let you keep reading it. Also while it may seem like 300 chapters, it's not. These are like 1/3 of normal chapters un beginning and 1/2 later on so it's about 100 chapters of a common novel.
Definitely wouldn't suggest that. 1/5 I guess since except for some jokes, I just don't see any merits of this.

The character dynamics were predictable, featuring a cool and aloof ML and an attractive, talented MC. The translation itself is commendable, and it remains an enjoyable read. However, I can't help but feel disappointed that the author didn't fully explore the intriguing aspects they initially hinted at, such as the blush-inducing shyness of the ML when flirted with – that would have been a refreshing twist. Why settle for the typical overbearing CEO trope when there was so much potential for a more nuanced development?
The premise is intriguing and skillfully written, with commendable translation. Liu Shunyi, the protagonist, comes across as likable among the array of characters, who exhibit a minimum level of distinct personalities - a rarity in many works. The pacing of the story is enjoyable and suitable for a leisurely reading experience, as it doesn't拖沓 with the character's cultivation journey and avoids making the protagonist a one-dimensional power-seeking vessel. Although the main character does possess significant strength, it's balanced enough not to overshadow the plot. At this stage, I am hopeful that this novel will continue to maintain a solid five-star rating from me.
This is my personal favorite among the author's writings, as well as many others. FL transcends the mindset of seeking revenge; instead, she discovers herself under her true identity, nurturing her personality and owning her own accomplishments. If her cousin had been a competent leader without causing unnecessary harm to protect their secret, I believe FL would have chosen to start anew rather than focus on revenge. Her motivation was to safeguard the people who fought alongside her, particularly the common folk, driven by a desire to rectify a wrong. The strength she gained from this mission resonates with me.
The connection between ML and FL is undeniable, their paths intertwining in a命中注定 manner. Both of them experienced profound loneliness during their childhoods, and ML played a significant role in her life, providing her with solace and fortitude in both her previous and current existence.
I have read this book in its original language six to seven times, and each time it deeply touches me. The depth of their appreciation for the simple joys of being together makes them one of my all-time favorite couples.
Unfortunately, I couldn't locate the entire story online, but what I did find was fantastic. Update: Yes, I've discovered it! You can read it for free, but with a daily limit of one chapter. I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys complex, intelligent, and charming characters who often find themselves misunderstood. The brothers' intense loyalty shares some similarities with the groups I mentioned earlier, but there are various other intriguing dynamics at play. While the focus isn't primarily on combat, the story revolves around diverse personalities becoming obsessed with our endearing yet oblivious main character. It's truly, truly, incredibly good!
