So, I was browsing WN and found a couple of interesting comments from the author. 1. The Author acknowledged the arc is “hella long” but it’s “for a good reason”, so let’s hope he sticks the landing. Also, the Author said they have been busy which is why the upload schedule for both novels is slow. The Author did state that they have no plans to drop either novel but they won’t rush either. Both of these comments were within the last month too.

I started reading this after I watched anime, I couldn't wait for the next season. after I started reading this when it was about to get to the end of daemon God arc translation stopped and it was frustrating. Then after about 6 months it restarted. And I started reading from beginning because i couldn't remember most of what I read. And then my exams started and I couldn't read it for a month. and again when I restarted i broke my phone and i had to use my old Nokia phone which didn't have data connection. and after a couple of months I had enough money for my phone repair and restarted reading it from beginning cos for my brain couldn't remember anything. Anyways although there were many breaks at last it is finished. And I liked it very much.

As the title suggests, I didn't have high expectations when starting this novel. However, since I usually read reincarnation stories, I thought it might help me empathize with the feelings of the female lead (FL) in those kinds of narratives. I concur with the reviewer who mentioned that the sexual content became repetitive, and I often skipped those parts to focus on the plot.
The trope of an unattractive yet innocent protagonist can be predictable, though her psychological struggles aren't as extreme as others I've encountered. It does resonate with the current situation where many people struggle due to low self-esteem, feeling lost or lacking motivation. Honestly, I would like for the FL to seek professional help from a psychiatrist, so she can develop a healthier self-image and view herself beyond just a physical object.
I find it puzzling that this wasn't labeled as a tragedy, but perhaps life's unpredictable nature is at play here. Occasionally, we only get one shot at certain opportunities, and missing that single chance means no do-overs. Both the female and male protagonists display flaws; the female lead should have been more discerning, and the male lead should have sought a clear response. Unfortunately, they faltered when it mattered most.
It's truly heartbreaking, but my friend and I jokingly think it could make an effective advertisement for high-quality glasses, highlighting the importance of clear vision in life's decisive moments. If you're seeking a happily-ever-after, this story might not meet your expectations.

The protagonist's naivety is quite notable, and it doesn't help that they never disclose his omega status. Perhaps he'd be less clueless if he understood the gravity of the situation! So far, I haven't witnessed what I was hoping for – the development of the main couple's romantic relationship.
