I love how the author uses the transmigration trope not for power fantasy, but for awakening. Zhao Ran isn't here to marry the male lead; she's here to survive him. The plot feels fresh because it's grounded in real marital abuse, not just drama. That line about acute appendicitis being potentially fatal? Chilling. It reframes everything. This isn't just a story about a bad husband; it's about a woman who almost died because of his negligence. And now she's fighting back. I'm hooked.
