I would love to see a sequel, but it doesn't look like that is going to happen since I can't find anything about it.
I need to talk about Dou Dou for a second because my heart literally ached. When Qi Yaoyao stumbles out of the train and slams into the little girl, Dou Dou falls hard. And what does she say? "I'm fine, it doesn't hurt." She's used to being beaten and scolded by her original mother. USED TO IT. Qin Nian notices this — she sees Dou Dou's "sensible little face" and her heart aches, gathers the child in her arms. That moment where Dou Dou blows on Qin Nian's bandaged neck wound and says she'll "treat" it? I was not okay. I literally had to pause and stare at the ceiling. And Tuan Tuan. Oh, Tuan Tuan. The boy who watched his mother — the mother he apparently thought was useless, the one who "couldn't peel an egg, couldn't lift anything heavier than a basket, and used to make him cry with her stupidity" — single-handedly take down three armed robbers. His wide eyes following her as she left to give a statement, full of "complicated emotions." That look on his face? I felt it. The moment of a child realizing his mom is actually kind of incredible. "Though these two children weren't her own by birth, Qin Nian's feelings for them were as deep as if they were her own flesh and blood." That line hit me so hard. She's not their biological mother, she's not even the original Qin Wan, but she loves them. And when Doudou cries seeing the blood on her neck, and Tuan Tuan's reddened eyes — Qin Nian pulls them both in. She doesn't distinguish between them. To her, they're hers. Then there's the Xie Zhengnian thing. Qin Nian hasn't slept properly in three nights because she's terrified she'll dream about him again — and last time, she moaned his name in her sleep. What if it happens again on a train full of people? The vulnerability underneath all that competence is kind of devastating. She's this fierce, capable woman who can take down traffickers, but she's also just... nervous about her own body betraying her feelings. I'm here for it.
great author. I know this book is going to just amazing as it predecessor.

I like the book, but it is not edited for English. very good store line, but I have to op out.
I cannot find the second book, Alpha's Little Sister, here in Goodnovel. I tried clicking on the author's page and it wasn't there either.
