It's an easy and quick read, Mel. The pilot is smooth, and the characters are fairly well-developed. It does get a bit boring later on, but it’s still manageable.
I initially hesitated to pick up this novel due to its seemingly vague and directionless premise. "Searching the entire world for his crush? That could take forever," I thought庆幸自己没有错过。Frankly, my reading motivation is often fueled by the search for a well-executed harem story. This, however, did not quite fit the bill. As is common in many cases, once a female character falls for the protagonist, her depth tends to disappear. Yet, what kept me engaged was the main character himself.
To put it bluntly, the protagonist is an average guy, relatable to a modern-day individual entering a fantastical realm. He doesn't possess any grand ambitions, like defeating a demon king or claiming dominion. His goal is refreshingly straightforward.
But this simplicity sets him apart from others who have lived in this world for generations, basing their actions on lofty concepts like justice and fairness. Watching their clash provides constant entertainment.
Furthermore, the episodic structure adds to the intrigue, as if the author themselves isn't entirely certain of the plot's direction. Each turn of events feels genuine since they unfold organically. However, this unpredictability also makes cliffhangers particularly excruciating.

Is it worth it? The romance and the plot, I mean.
Firstly, even though I'm fluent in Spanish, I'll use a translator for this response, apologies for any spelling errors. As for me, I found the story engaging, though not extraordinary. Initially, I considered dropping it after Chapter 50 due to its quiet pace, but I eventually became captivated up until near the end. The main character's embarrassment and behavior were cringe-worthy, but they did find resolution, albeit not the truth (though it would've been hard to believe). What I appreciated was the satisfactory conclusion where the protagonist showed growth, evident in the final chapters. She had a stable life, free from deceit and pretense.
However, I'm unsure if the male lead genuinely fell in love with her, or if it was more of a habit and comfort. Some claim there was a rape incident, but the protagonist herself claims it was consensual due to her intoxication. The male lead initially loved her and regarded her as a safe haven, feeling betrayed when he discovered her true nature, but ultimately accepted it.

This is an excellent novel but be warned the first 100 chapters are an absolute slog to get through. But if you can stomach it, you will be rewarded. IMO it becomes better than Warlock of the Magus World but unfortunately it has a dropped translation. On other sites you can find other English translations that continue but they may as well be (and possibly are) using google translate. So keep that in mind if you do choose to give it a go. This novel also goes by the name Super Dimensional Wizard, which is probably a more accurate title as there is no reference to warlocks in this novel, MC and all other characters are wizards.
i also read otherwordly evil monarch and well, it's clearly perverted, with the intention of writing ecchi moments but it's more p*rv*rt than ecchi. but as i said before the writing is awesome and the stories too. so i would really read it and see how you find it
