The story seems to have some common parts with a generic fantasy novel but the way the character connects with others is something i love about this book. I would like to see what kind of arcs the author is able to introduce now that the recruitment process ahs begun and the old man also as a secret.
First of all this is a great novel and I will continue to read it. That being said my following criticism should be seen as constructive and not judgemental or destructive.1. Forgetable/Mobs characters receive to much words and in certain cases their traits and mannerisms becomes indistinguishable from the main character. The way the writer writes dialogue further exacerbates this, making it hard for readers to distinguish between characters - especially during dialogue.2. The MC becomes aware of knowledge that he should not be aware of. This can be easily fixed by simply indicating that he is not aware of this and that this is the knowledge of the future MC bleeding into he’s own recounts of his past, because technically the MC is writing his own story about his past self. The author is fixing this in later chapters.Those two points are my bigest criticisms.
Pretty good all around if you're looking for something with game elements this is one of the good ones that I've seen so far. Can't quite remember the name but it reminds me of close combat mage.
It is a really great novel. Something people can relate to and also someone people wish and aspire to be. The main character is overpowered and shares are strong bond with his family which makes your heart warm.
Very Funny and interesting. A little worried about the future of this novel, as it looks like it might get very repetitive but I wish for it to get picked so I can find out.
This novel actually really good, intelligent MC and antagonists, MC uses his brain and wits to defeat his enemies than brute force most of time and realises pros and cons. It's a shame translation stopped. There wasn't any netorare through c1-c532. Even if there was in later chapters what do you expect from brutal world of cultivation rape, murder and robbery happens all the time.Just skip that chapter. Overall it's better than most novels who has mindless MC and antagonists.
