Awesome Story! Loved every minute of it! Well written!
Great book
The atmosphere in this novel is *chef's kiss*. Let me paint you a picture: you've got this dimly lit bar in Shanghai, booked out for the night, buzzing with noise, strobe lights shifting colors in sync with the DJ track, the whole ambiguous late-night energy that makes strangers feel like they could be anything to each other. And then there's the art exhibition—388 yuan tickets, incomprehensible abstract paintings, collectors who treat art like a status symbol. Shen Simo's internal吐槽 about the art is so relatable: "These days, anyone can call themselves an artist. Let's just snap a few photos and leave. I could paint this stuff too." But beneath the humor, there's this sharp observation about the world she's navigating—a world where image and perception matter more than substance. The contrast between settings is deliberate. The street where they first meet is uneven, full of loose gravel—a metaphor for the unstable ground Shen Simo is walking on. The bar is loud and chaotic, a place of performance and pretense. The exhibition hall is polished and refined, with floors smooth enough that pushing a wheelchair feels effortless. Each location reflects a different layer of their interaction. I also love the sensory details. The smell of soap on Lu Huaichuan. The warmth of his breath. The chill of his fingertips when he taps her phone. The white rose he folds and then crumples into the trash. These small, vivid images make the world feel tangible. You're not just reading about Shanghai's elite art scene—you're standing in it, feeling the strobe lights, smelling the martini and the soap, hearing the muffled bass from the dance floor. The author doesn't over-describe, but when they do describe, it's precise and purposeful. Every setting serves the story.
this book is interesting love it
Make Anne smarter. Also bring back smart Anthony. All his efforts at redemption are not being seen because of that nasty Bianca. He needs to see this and let all hell break loose.

Nice story.
I'm not scared for Pat. I'm actually scared for Zee, what he's gonna do with her. He would definitely cease her liberty not letting her go out anymore. And thank you for the quick updates dear author. We totally understand you. Take your time in updating.
