I'll delete this in 3 days if it does not live up to my expectations. I'll ad 1 like if I love it and keep it plain if it's average so don't press that like. As for the actual review.. Maybe last year but this year. Are you worthy?! Web... Curse you.
If there is one thing to remember about this novel, then it is this: Try, try to write, try to read. You can't succeed without trying. This book is a good try, not perfect, far from it, but not horrible.Power levels and such are completely bullshit and unbalanced. I am not even talking about the ability to pick up stats, talents, spells, techniques, bloodlines, etc, but the ability to buy strength with money. 10 Gold = 1 Stat point100000 Stat points in one stat and you have reached the level of one of the most powerful(7. rank of 9 basic ranks +Saint realm), but a single magic beast of that level is worth a lot more than the 3 million to get all stats to the 7. Rank (dual Cultivation). Now imagine, a MC with a system like that and a little more common sense than our MC and you would a MC who could reach Saint realm by just killing a few magic beasts of a lower level. The system even gives out money directly for killing, not much, but the MC could have easily reached Saint realm in a month if he had stayed in his starting location and hunted beasts. The system makes the rest of the world building obsolete.Don't misunderstand, I like this novel, but the way the power scale is progressing the MC will have reached God level before chapter 100 and the only way this is not going to happen is because either the MC is stupid or the next 30 chapters are filled with trivia.Side characters are well mostly alright, but all of them are a hindrance, the MC could progress much faster without them. MC hiding his strength is the reason he is still so weak.
Story is kind of gross. He is into his little sister that he grew up together with since he was a baby. It gets found out early on that they aren't related but I just can't handle it. I thought it was too gross.
I tried really hard to like this. It’s a interesting concept, but the main character is a complete scumbag worthless piece of trash. A main character. Author is the main character for a reason. It has some type of qualities that makes it super outstanding and memorable to the readers minds your dude a douche piece of trash, Simp all those fun things into one and he’s a weakling so super super grading to try to read so everyone else have a good life. Enjoy your Reed
Coming back from the dead to get his revenge. It is going to be satisfying to see that when he does get his revenge. The way the author explains the scenes made me imagine I was actually in them. Amazing work. Can't wait to see how this book will turn out.
The translation is trash. This book was clearly not proof-read before being released.
About the cover copyrights, I doubt Pony Canyon, TBS, Movic, Animation Do will come here to complain... unless your book suddenly shot to top 1 charts, but at that time, you probably will have commissioned your own cover. xDBy the way, as it looks like author doesn't know, this is a cover related to the anime Clannad. Now, about the book. It looks very good, and I like the premise in the synopses. Gonna check it out later.
This is a fun series that acts like a western series taking place in a place like historical China. Although many historical Chinese series have themes like severe ***ism, women having no value aside from their appearances, relentless overbearing revenge, and rape becoming romance, this series has none of those and instead takes values that readers in English-speaking countries may be more likely to agree with. Although this is in a culture where women have limited rights, several female characters in this series stand up for themselves and overcome those norms. The MC is a general, another woman is a soldier who dreams of becoming a general, one is a empress leading her country, and yet another is a skilled and cunning information broker. Although I like Chinese series, this is the kind of series I would prefer to read. The characters are all fantastic, and several of them show depth, even if they're villains. It's great to see how they all grow and develop. The story development is excellent, and the plot really picks up after the second volume. Although some parts of this series are slow, it's doesn't drag things on.It would be nice if more description could be given for each of the various countries involved. They all just give the impression that they are each like each other and have the same government system and cultures without any distinctive features. The writing appears to be from someone who isn't a native English-speaker, and parts of it don't make sense. However, the edited chapters are much more coherent and easier to follow. That said, I still used a lot of spirit stones to catch up and would recommend this series for anyone liking a light, entertaining read.
I liked the story. First I will talk about the things I liked, then I will talk about the shortcomings. The characters are well thought out. -The world background has an interesting and understandable layout.-The features of the system are well thought out and easy to understand. -The battle scenes are satisfactorily descriptive. Here are the points that I find missing.-It's a well thought out novel, but overall I found it a bit lacking in depth. Although mc has a painful and difficult past and says he can't trust people, he doesn't quite fit in.From my point of view, it would be more reasonable for a person who has been so hurt and bullied to be a little unstable when trying to get stronger for revenge. So I think a more wild personality should have come to the fore instead of unnecessary stuffing for it to be cool.I don't feel that mc has a completely distrustful image of the ducks chasing him according to his past life we learned.I liked the novel overall, better than other cliche reincarnation system novels.
