Only finished until chapter 4, and I'm dropping this novel now. I'm too old for this kind of writing, I probably would've enjoyed this in my teens but now, I'll gladly pass.
Oh My God, This is the best novel in the recent update. Its crazy good. I can’t stop laughing ??. The MC is likeable. The cheat is quite strong but not OP. The family is great, School is great. No arrogant villains yet, Just pitiful animals. The world seems to be good with both cultivation and technology, But there isn’t any clear storyline, Other than his unknown parents. Right now it feels like a carefree novel. Anyway Just read it, Its great.

i like the idea of this novel and specialy those acg characteres they are so cute unfortunately the personality of the mc is lame and really bad i don't know why but i feel disgusted and repulsed by how he acts in the end i couldn't continue reading it's such a shame though the world background and story developpment are good if only the mc was a little different
I really like this novel but unfortunately it gone to long hiatus but its back now but the translation is mtl, @_@ Well still interesting story until now even if you only understand little because of translation but i say again still great HAHAHAHA
Read up to chapter 114 and I love the story and the way he goes through his mind sets but he does seem to be a bit hypocritical at some points. I understand certain people need to be cut off since he doesn’t want to worry about being stabbed in the back later. It’s just he gave a chance to several people that don’t deserve it and others he just kills right away. I mean I get it, but geez some of them I feel like deserve at least a chance, dudes trying to stop the end of the world. I would think he would need more Allies. And yeah I know that from his mind set the power is already changing him a bit. But dude got some multiple personalities or something. I don’t think I was expecting him to get so dark. So I’ll probably take a break from the story for awhile. (Wanted to see more fire girl man. Would have love to see the conflicts between lily and her.)My final thoughts, Either way it had great quality on the writing and the world building is amazing. It has a sense of mystery in the background that you kinda just wanna know more about. If I had to say anything the thing that pulled me most, to this story was what the mc would do next.
TLDR: MC is way too OP and there doesn't seem to be much room for plot or character development. As well, MC doesn't seem to have any character motivation. To be honest, I've only read three chapters, but I don't understand how there is going to be much character development in the future. How is the MC going to get stronger if he is already OP? Maybe because I read an IET novel recently but I feel like this book needs to present more challenges to the MC. Instead of giving MC a genius and repairing said genius' whatever root, wouldn't it be better if there is a less charitable system, or no system at all, and MC has to get strength himself and go out to find disciples and repair his reputation. This type of book seems somewhat interesting to me, but if MC gets everything from the start then it'll be way too boring. Also, the MC doesn't seem to have any reason for character development. If the MC was not reincarnated, but instead like the son of some sect elder or something, and felt emotional attachment to the sect, it would probably be more interesting. And instead of "enemies" the sect had one main enemy, MC, who has emotional attachment to the sect, would try to target this enemy.

I have to say it simply since I can’t write a super long review so I’ll keep it short. This was amazing. Don’t judge the book from just reading the first few chapters. It isn’t basic. It has a refreshing plot and characters. Her writing greatly improves over the course of the book, so don’t be so harsh during the very first chapters. Her writing never deteriorated and only kept improving! The character development is amazing and it she actually tells many stories of many people in this one novel. That is what I like. She focuses and building every character. She writes of beautiful values and morals too. It makes me respect her as more than just a writer but a person. The story really has a a great plot. It isn’t as simple as you’d guess by reading only the start. You have to read the whole thing to be able to know what’ll happen. It’s the type of plot that keeps you guessing. In no way is this like any other historical novel. It’s wonderful and new. Like a breath of fresh air. I loved reading this and I’ve reread it at least four times! I really recommend it.
