Its so good
This book is good but the plot is slow. 70+ chapters and they have a yet to mark and mate. Avery hasn’t learned how to defend herself and you’d think they’d get her some training or that Don would help her learn.
Very interesting and tragic story to begin with, that ends in an HEA, which felt well deserved for the long & deeply suffering characters. Found their back stories to be emotionally effective. Very much enjoyed it. Would definitely read it again, of course, after some time. Well done, overall.
I think that the last bit was about dave.. I could be wrong butt… he just gives me the vibe of a man from todays world. Good at first, until you dive deeper and realize you shouldn’t have gave him your number
