I read it mostly because it was rated 4+, that's very rare here, but I think you got that wrong, maybe 12+ will be better.

Good plot, poor execution. I can see where the author was aiming, but things quickly spiraled out of control, resulting in a messy, albeit completed, work. The story flowed smoothly after the sister-in-law scene, but there was an almost complete lack of conflict. I found myself wishing the ex-wife would make a scene, and while she did appear, her presence was so brief that it barely made an impact. Despite some heartwarming moments, the overall boredom and flatness made it unenjoyable.
At first, I really enjoyed the character development, particularly the chemistry between them. However, as their relationship progressed, my admiration for GYC began to wane. It felt like he transformed into a typical, forceful overbearing male lead, while she became overly submissive. The dynamic that initially attracted her, his maturity, seemed to fade away. For instance, his persistent pressure for intimacy without regard for consequences resulted in an unplanned pregnancy, which went against his promises to her and her father about supporting her education and respecting her timeline. It was disappointing to see how quickly his commitments were discarded once he had her.

So is it completed or not? The last chapter kinda reads like an ending and there haven’t been any updates recently but it says ongoing here at the top. I very much hope it’s not, I feel like that would be very detrimental as there’s still much to do for Cain
