Trial Read Review (only from synopsis):(X:ICATDOHP) - So the protagonist gets reincarnated with the power to change the dates (how old or young they are) of herbs. He is a herb disciple (good for him) and since plants are more powerful when older, he modifies the plants and consumes them making him stronger. Not going to lie, this plot seems mediocre and bland. Maybe I will check it out.(YTIBIWBMS) - This is one of those talent stealing novels. That is literally all the synopsis covers and it doesn't really talk much about the plot. There have already been many novels similar to this one and I will only check it out if I am bored.(ITRWISG) - Basically, the protagonist is in a modern world where he can see stats and stuff like a game while no one else can’t. This plot has been overused so much and usually comes with an extra plate of face slapping. The sad thing is that I’m already full.(MR) - Out of all of the other trial novels this time, this seems like the one with the most plot and potential. Honestly, I can’t really understand what the plot is because the synopsis is short but it hooks you into the story (somewhat). I will check it out.(P9Y:AAMFFY) - Protagonist transmigrates into the modern world and gets a funeral system. He also has a funeral company (you can see where this is going). Basically, he can make amazing things happen at your funeral, but that’s all. Unique plot but honestly kind of lackluster. Maybe I will read it.(LOTP:IRAMSFTS) - Guy can get land and stuff and summon succubi and this plot is overused and seems generic blah blah blah (hey, it’s like 2:00 for me over here, don’t blame me for being sloppy). Anyway, bad. Wouldn’t recommend it.
Interesting!Fun!Entertaining!Comedy!Action! What do you want? They are all packed into This story. The story plot is nice. Even though, there are some grammatical errors here and there, it's still very interesting
Nice...this book is good and I really love the theme, synopsis made be feel like an idiot bcoz of this sentencewho am I?I'm Ray no matter what I couldn't stop smiling looking at it. (I just felt it funny)
I am really liking this novel. How we can see the character's thoughts in a limited way. You did that very well. The back and forth between the characters really creates the ******* and builds the scenes for the training and dueling. I am adding this to my collection. Can't wait to read more
This novel is a very lighthearted story with a very OP MC. And I mean very overpowered, along the lines of One Punch Man. He has long surpassed everyone because his strength grows even when he’s not doing anything. That being said, there isn’t too much action so far. But if you like super OP MCs, then the action scenes that have been written are quite satisfying. And it’s pretty clear that the story that the MC will soon have to deal with more and more enemies.
Hello there ? ( be aware this review contain some slight spoiler but no major )Okay so normally, I don’t write review very often, it’s my first to be exactWhy could you expect from this book ? Pros : World backgroung : -Your typical western fantasy world with goblin, dwarfs, elves, but with many different races in the same species ( moon elves, sun elves, wood elves... ) Also the map is massive with tons of empire containig even more kingdom, at a point I loose myself sometimes. The lore of the world has not been fully explored but it will come in time...Character development : -First our MC is one of the most human like I’ve ever read, he has anger, embarrassment and all the emotions which define who we are. He is also a lamba human, not some son of mafia gang and all. He will passe several ordeals which will make him mature and affirm his will as well as his goal. He is a 19 man, little bit introvert and clueless in relationships but definitely not your typical nerd who is more dense than mercury. He will open more to others with the game and even through there is no romance until now, there is one main ship which is only waiting to sail.Story development : -*Spoiler* Our MC arrive in a world where a beast tide is about to rase every empire, estimed in the next couple of years if not months, so it’s a rush to becoming strong with a player community completely disorganised. * End of Spoiler*Character design : -There are several others side characters well made, they didn’t feel bland like i’ve seen in some other novel. *Spoiler* Some will die, some will lives, and the despair of the MC will be fully felt.* End of Spoiler*Plot armour : ( what i’m considering plot armour is heaven sent opportunity, like he has nothing to do. Because he will have oppotunity but at a cost he is not willing to shoulder if he was to have a redo) -There is little to no plot armor in this story, the first one will be he met a powerful guy ( at the start ) but this guy will train him like a normal soldier, not like a family heirloom and giving him all the secret techniques he don’t even has. The guy is powerful but only in the city he is.Also the path of the MC will not be a smooth one *Spoiler* , he will choose a very difficult race which magic is blocked so he will experiment many way to unseal it, also he will use every advantage his race talent give him, so if you kinda like jack of all trades it’s for you. Also regarding how he can use magic, he will not have the final solution from the beginning, he will experiment many different way, some wrong, some half-wrong and he is still not accustomed to his final formAlso with these experiment, he will become quite special, not overpowered but he has the potential to be* End of spoiler*.Cons : -The pacing of the novel may be boring for some people, it’s a day to day pacing with IRL elements ( not massive but good enough to understand he is not only playing). Also,he will not become OP in tens of chapter. I’m currently at chapter 196 and he is still at the bottom of the barrel, just slightly stonger than normal player and normal soldier. Also the strength mesurement can be quit confusing for beast and human alike: There is your typical level which you gain by killing ennmies and it give you stat. There is also the job (like swordsman and magician) wich are in Tier ( from 1 to 10, each more difficult to pass with a qualitative change at Tier 5) it also give statsAnd beast have an other factor( player also has it if they choose a difficult race, powerful advantage but the sytem give no help ), the strength of their body :normal animal->magical beast->demonic beast->bloodline beast->ancient beast-> mythical beast So you have to understand strength is like : body strength*job*level with each less important tha the other : body strength>job>level for example a human tier 7 mage level 50 will be completely destroy by a mythical beast Tier 4 level 30 ( also beast don’t have job just tier) ( maybe not but i’m giving an example )And finnaly the biggest problem this novel has for me is.....NOT ENOUGH CHAPTERS ??(Even through the chapter are really lenghty)
Can’t remember if I’ve left a review... honestly, the novel was a little bumpy in the start, but it has turned out to be one of the best books I’ve read on this app in my opinion. Biako does an excellent job at making you want more at the end of each chapter. Yeah, there are some grammar errors, but as he says English isn’t his first language. All together, the book has a great story line and amazing imagination. It keeps you guessing. It’s hard to tell what the MC’s next move will be or how he predicts things might turn out. I like how the MC actually runs into problems and it’s nice to see him struggle. PLUS, if you get privilege for this book, he charges ONLY 1 COIN no matter how long the chapter is. I mean come on. That’s awesome!! I haven’t found an author that does that yet. A good book for a small amount of your coins! The update rate is slow, but I think that just makes you want to read it even more! Keep up the awesome work Biako!!
Easily the best out of this week's trial reads. Truly a breath of fresh air.
The author's works have always been excellent. It includes this one! I wasn't expecting how the MC is deeply connected to the MCs on the author's first Soul Land work. That was an amzingly welcome suprise. The story progresses well with every chapter and with a bit of fun and humor here and there. Certainly one I'm looking forward to read everyday! Hoping to get more chapters daily heheIt's an excellent read! ?
I have read ahead through raws. My views:1. A good novel. You will know what to expect if you have read Er Gen's previous novels: comedy and world building. No standard arrogant young masters. 2. The title of novel is different in Chinese. I'm guessing translator took heavy liberties as the title is very hard to translate. Also, the chinese synopsis is a poem like structure. It explains about the title of novel. So disappointed that translator skipped it. 3. The MC is a fatty who wishes to become the top dog so that he won't be bullied. After all, the top dog gets the right to bully others.4. There is really no technology much less sci-fi tech. Pretty much standard xianxia setting except we are on Earth.5. The humor is really good. The starting jokes are on MC trying to lose weight.
fell in love with the story within the first 5 chapters itself. this one has a unique flavour of itself .I just hope the author doesn't drop it mid way .
I really like this story, it is actually one of my favorites, but the translation really doesn't do it justice. There are missing words, wrong words being used, sentences that simply make no sense, parts that are simply not translated properly and probably many other kinds of mistakes and the text simply doesn't flow at all. I really think this novel deserves a better translator. What I like about this story is the plot, the setting and the characters. I especially like the characters. I think the world building is a bit lacking, but the other aspects of the story make it up for that. I find the characters as well as the events unfolding in the story to be very amusing. Unfortunately, nothing can really make it up for that horrible translation. I myself feel forced to read MTL as I can actually understand that much better than this. I apologize for ****** these possibly painful remarks, but I'm just stating the truth.
