Intriguing story line rollercoaster ride of the characters good read
This is amazing… being a Nigerian i could visualize the story asif it was happening right in front of me. Amazing writing and lovely story. Kudos to the author
Highly recommended story for those who love this kind of genre and plot! as always this story is surely worth the read
Great book to read. Erin went through so much. So glad that things turned out for the better at the end.
What a charming novel! I translated the rest, which was quite easy to comprehend despite the 13-year age gap between the main character (MC) and the male lead (ML). The ML, being a teacher, handles the MC's mischievous behavior with remarkable grace. Although the MC's immaturity could be challenging at times, their contrasting personalities complement each other, and the ML's patience fosters a strong bond. Throughout the story, the MC matures under the ML's influence, while the ML rediscovers the joy of life.
There were some adorable moments:
- A misunderstanding about living together leads the mature ML to realize he genuinely wants the MC by his side, despite the challenges.
- They adopt a dog and attend training classes together as a fun activity.
- Despite being miles apart, they frequently call each other, with the ML even surprising the MC by ordering their favorite meal and having it delivered - such a heartwarming gesture!
- The MC discovers the ML's online searches, revealing topics like dating advice for someone older, dealing with an upset father-in-law, marriage preparation, and recipes. It's cute to see the ML isn't naturally equipped to navigate these situations but seeks guidance from the internet.
Though I generally avoid teacher-student romance stories, this one stood out as a delightful read. I enjoyed it enough to translate the rest – a solid 5 out of 5!
The narrative truly justifies the time and effort put into Machine Translation (MTL). I am eagerly anticipating the fantastic translation from Chaleuria Team, as I suspect there are many details I might have overlooked. This tale revolves around two high school boys who become seatmates, skillfully pretending to be academically low-ranking, striving to remain at the bottom of their class hierarchy. They excel in their roles as comical fools, with the cold-hearted protagonist and his "I don't care" demeanor, and the charismatic, arrogant ML, who plays the fool for all to see.
What makes this story particularly engaging is how well their charades progress, eventually leading to a touching moment where they worry about each other's future despite their initial perceptions. The MC believes ML has no academic prospects, while ML secretly helps the MC by anonymously sending review materials. In turn, ML surprises MC with study materials left on his desk, creating an endearing exchange of support.
Both main characters have compelling reasons for their actions, reflecting the earnestness and sacrifices of adolescence. The supporting cast, including friends, family, and even rivals, are portrayed as supportive and often humorous, adding depth to the story without resorting to villainy. Instead, they embody the complexities of human relationships.
Reading this book is a delightful distraction during a period of waiting for a strong typhoon to pass. I sincerely hope the translator continues to deliver such a captivating and well-rounded translation.
