If you feel like no one cares about you, think again. Look in the mirror because the person you see, needs you more than anyone else. You need to find a person that will accept your flaws and still keep on believing in you.
Intrigued. Excited to see more.
Weak world building.Lots of cliches. The MC's motivation is a travesty.Supposedly motivated by making money in the game, but he has never once actually tried to figure out making money.Has a part time job and that's supposed to support him and his 'non-biological sister' (yes... another sister not related by blood)He doesn't seem to have any angst over this once he starts playing, it's just tossed to the side as more women line up around the MC.Yes...it's another one of those where women are almost always good and men (aside from possibly the elderly and maybe little kids) are BAD.If it is going to be a harem then the author really needs to put that tag.Someone mentioned how the rules of this 'game' that had only been in existence for 4 years were being used on a MEDICAL EXAM?Yes you have to give the author room but you can't expect us to throw away our brains completely, you need to give a realistic reason or it is just not going to work.Works at a brick and mortar convenience store....that specializes in this virtual reality game? Doesn't seem to make a lot of sense unless it's just for marketing purposes I guess. You can expect to have to suspend your disbelief on a fantasy novel, but the logic still needs to be there.
Started of good, now has gone downhill. Too many fillers 3-4 chapters worth (mostly back and forth between characters with the story not moving forward or anywhere.) For the first time I'm dropping a novel. It had potential but MC became OP too fast and the author became greedy. In my opinion it's not worth spending the spirit stones and if you have subscription its not worth wasting time when you can read other good novels
Tigress Kung Fu Panda, it's you ?. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
"What I want, the Heavens shall not lack! ”“What I don’t want, had better not exist in the Heavens!”This is a story which originates between the Eighth and Ninth Mountains, the world in which the strong prey upon the weak.“My Name is Meng Hao! The Ninth Generation Demon Sealer, I shall seal the Heavens!“ I Shall Seal the Heavens, otherwise known as Wo Yu Feng Tian, is a Xianxia novel written by Er Gen.The story revolves around Meng Hao, who starts off as a failing scholar and ends up as an omnipotent. In my opinion, this guy is the best main character I’ve seen so far. This comes from his character development and unique personality, which is antithesis to those of typical novels.Absolutely shameless down to his marrows, a bashful killer, and a ruthless con artist, Meng Hao truly exhibits the behaviors people’d expect out of villains. He rips off money from people by hurting them, treating their wounds that he caused, and asking for treatment money. What’s more surprising is that this is all done in the daylight, when people are watching. However, shamelessness (which I thought would last until the end) eventually came to an end after Meng Hao going to tens of thousands of years of life – But, honestly, it’d be weird if he still ripped people off of their money as one of the oldest people in the universe. The process of his change in personality was quite long, but it was quite evident throughout the entire novel. There were many factors that contributed to this change, but I won’t name any of them except one : becoming strong. When Meng Hao was young, he was abandoned and he was a failing scholar, so of course he had to be ruthless and shameless to survive off of the little money he had; but, as he took another route in life and turned to cultivating and gaining power, his mindset slowly began to change. He no longer view people as organisms which he can rip money off from and began to look at them as an old, wise sage would. That’s enough about the MC, now about the plot :The plot in the beginning is very, very vague in the beginning, it’s almost as if this is just about the journey of Meng Hao. But, as various events take places, you’ll begin to notice something strange about what was going on with him little by little, until you reach a certain point when you are suddenly hit with a huge plot twist. (This twist, let me tell you, isn’t one of the cliche ones you’ll see from the typical American novels. Trust me)This story isn’t the typical “weak to strong” type of story, but rather “main character literally defying the heavens.” If you want to start reading light-novels, I’d recommend you start off with this one. Trust me, you won’t regret it!
The beginning chapters was fairly decent. But after ~c281, the translation quality/writing seems to have dropped alot. Stuperfious and unnatural writing style v annoying.
An Amazing novel, returning back in time has always been one of my favourite tags and this novel perfectly shows that, I just hope that the author could write more words in his chapters. Overall I think the book has a lot of potential and I hope the author continues with it.
