so disappointing to see writers attempt to create their own version of mate bond that destroys the reason people love the idea of it...twins are 2 halves and this always means the same one mate as it should be!! I read this story to the end hoping it would come right, my own fault..ruined mate bonds

Kane is all over the place, like a drunk horny teenager. Since he's a main character there's no escaping how cringey he is. At least Selena is a little more three dimensional, but she also has the same sorry family back story, ugh.
