The classic case of a story with no ending. Where plot scenarios are repeated every 100 chapters(out of the 5k+ chapters) but using different names for the enemies that end up having the exact same personality and goal as the last enemy. It's not the worst story on this site, but it isn't average nor a good read. Considering the amount of novels flooding into this site, you really shouldn't ever run out of better stories to read, to justify picking this one.
GFS threw away the MC's personality as fast as possible. making GFS about the food only. this made GFS boring to read since the food isn't even real or possible to recreate unlike Shokugeki no Soma.if u want to read about a person who is reduced to nothing more than a cooking robot, customers who can be called A, B or C, dishes that are real but impossible to recreate and is essentially fictitious besides the name of the dish... read this!An example of the dishes in GFS.Hamburger but the ingredients are pulled from a pig that was frozen in an ice block on the planet pluto and it's super fresh and has no pollutants. it also ate nothing but krytonite so it is super strong and has no fat! The bread is made out of flour that is crushed meteorite, combined with water from the ice blocks floating around in the galaxy X01-99.

If your thinking on reading this then its a few things you should know ive read the whole first volume of the book which is 160 chapters and ive enjoyed the stroy the characters are really fleshed out and the plot looks pretty good along with the world building but there are a few things i really didnt like 1 of those things is the Author keeps forgetting elements in his whole story when we first learned about the element it was only the basic ones but then he adds a new on every time like nature or summoning which wasnt a thing at first then i dont like the power system i dont think its very well made if you dont have a staff you can only use 10% of a spells power which i think is stupid cause as long as you disarm someone you win basically harry potter rules the grimoires are said to be really strong but they dont do anything but provide new spells and protect the host very little and finally the worst thing the end of volume 1 was just terrible in my opinion basically the author forces the mc and he's closest ally to fight which i think its very forced .
