IBOR
Another great story from E.S.! Both incredibly hurt characters. But this makes them human and makes the reader love them more. E.S. always delivers a great story with a lot of plot and character development in a short read. Thanks for the epilogue. I’m looking forward to the next story!

really good! living this series!
Really enjoyed the stories. Would love to read some more.
The way the author write the story is very descriptive. I love the clarity of words and on how she describes the uniqueness of her characters. I love this royalty story. Keep it up dear! :)
the book is so great. I was glued to it the entire time. absolutely loved your work!
I have been waiting for the update. Looks like it will not. Please author update it. Its very nice.
Why is it taking so long for new chapters ?
The story features an atypical main character (MC) and love interest (ML). The MC is portrayed as strong but lacking in wit, while the ML is intelligent but physically frail. My issue lies with the MC's overly righteous demeanor, reminiscent of an anime teenage hero, which doesn't resonate with me. I can appreciate protagonists with a strong moral compass, but they should also exhibit some intellectual prowess. Unfortunately, this particular MC falls short. However, this is merely a personal preference. For fans of clichéd characters and murder mysteries, the synopsis does accurately depict the low IQ aspect, which initially piqued my interest.
In terms of the plot, it had potential before the translation halted. I considered reading it in rough translation solely for the storyline, but I ultimately decided against it due to the frustration caused by the MC's愚蠢 decisions, which felt out of touch with my usual reading preferences.
The start was a bit challenging due to the FL's apparent shyness, but upon delving deeper, I grew to appreciate the novel. It's heartwarming, humorous, and consistently evoked smiles. While there are hints at intimate moments, no explicit details are provided, leaving room for the reader's imagination to fill in the blanks.
I'm unsure if this advice will resonate with others, but personally, I found it helpful to visualize the characters as I read. Initially, it was difficult to picture the ML, but then I recalled an anime on Netflix called "The Way of the Househusband." The protagonist is tough yet charming and handsome, which helped me form an image for the ML.
Looking back, I even came to understand and enjoy the FL's initial timidness, as it showcased the ML's cunning and possessiveness in a subtle way. Cao An, the ML, is more sophisticated, intelligent, and strategic than the typical yandere character.
The story avoids unnecessary complications, such as third-party interference or frustrating misunderstandings, and maintains a clean plot. Overall, it's a delightful read that I would definitely revisit someday.
The book itself is fantastic! It's delightful and charming, deserving a solid 4.5 stars so far. However, I'm disappointed to report that none of the links are functional and it seems no additional content has been released, unless it was all included in the initial 112 chapters. I had to search for chapter 82 (and am eagerly awaiting 83) on another site. My dissatisfaction stems from the fact that the novel is not fully translated and receives slow updates. That's why I've deducted stars, placing it at 3 stars - the issue lies entirely with the updater.
Why is this not popular? I mean, it has good reviews and 600+ chapters. What the hell? The writing is superb, the characters are detailed and have depth, it's slow paced but the world building is excellent. It's been a while since I decided to pause and let it stack but I find it crazy how this novel isn't really considered when there are so many sh*tty novel in the top 30, is it too sophisticated for the average reader? But then again LoTM wasn't an easy cup of tea either but still top ranked. I'm not saying that that this novel is a masterpiece, as it has some flaws, but clearly deserves to be higher ranked.
