Story has been good so far but the author hasn't updated it in a long time which is frustrating and I'm almost ready to delete it.
currently reading this, and I can tell that it's going to be worthwhile
Great book love the characters. Please write more chapters
Excellent story
This girl is the worst. Like, genuinely unhinged. She shows up at Li Luo's door the day after being rudely dismissed and acts like nothing happened—sits on Qin Mian's bed uninvited, asks invasive questions, pretends to be friendly while clearly plotting something. And then she tampers with the stove vent at night? That's not petty, that's dangerous. It's winter in the northwest. She could've suffocated someone. The neighbor Auntie Liu drops this info casually like it's gossip over laundry: Han Qiuyu's family once tried to set her up with Qin Mian, and she still thinks they're meant to be. She even had her mom come scold Qin for being unkind to Li Luo. The entitlement is staggering. Meanwhile, Li Luo—freshly dropped into this body, trying to survive—handles her with this weird mix of deflection and genuine attempt at magnanimity. When Han Qiuyu splashes water on her, Li Luo literally says 'knowing your mistake and correcting it is what matters.' I wanted to shake her. Like girl, this is not your mom, this is a rival who is actively trying to make your life miserable. The power dynamic here is so interesting though. Han Qiuyu has social capital—everyone knows her, everyone likes her, she's pretty and ambitious. Li Luo has nothing but her wits and that stubborn refusal to stay down. I keep waiting for Han Qiuyu to make a bigger move. What's she going to do next?
In four words, the novel can be summed up as: delightful, endearing, charming, and uproariously funny. Described in eight, it's exquisitely sweet, outrageously fluffy, irresistibly cute, and absolutely hilarious.
My affection for the story blossomed instantly - despite not typically reading BL - after just the first chapter. As I delved deeper, my heart was stolen away, compelling me to undertake the translation myself, eager to share its joy with others.
This tale brims with laughter, especially when our protagonist, Fei Chang, a lovable cinnamon roll, falls head over heels for the renowned idol Chen Yue Yang. Following a particular incident, Chen Yue Yang takes Fei Chang under his wing, setting off an entertaining journey. Fei Chang's candid, innocent, and genuine nature creates comical scenarios, accentuated by the stark contrast between his appearance and adorable personality.
While the male lead initially appears reserved, his actions from the outset demonstrate a tender care, perhaps initially as a mentor, but later revealing deeper sentiments. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
If you渴望 a heartwarming read that tickles your funny bone, this book is a must-try. Even if you're not usually drawn to this genre, just a few chapters guarantee a captivation that'll steal your heart away!
Could someone tell me if this is worth reading and the basic premise of it?
will there be more chapters or is it dropped
Thank God nothing bad happened
This R-18 tag is just for the big words and no scenes.
Basically "Game Design: Who Rated the Games as Very Easy?", that's just a game theory though.
Here's the revised version in English:
So far, my perspective on the story is as follows:
Pros:
1. Engaging protagonist: The character development is captivating.
2. No reliance on a "young master" stereotype: A refreshing take.
3. Strong MC: The main character demonstrates decisiveness and ruthlessness when necessary.
4. Absence of an overpowered "system" element: A more grounded approach.
5. Rapid chapter uploads: Timely updates keep readers engaged.
Cons:
1. Limited action: Given the modern setting, this is understandable, but some may miss it.
2. Slow pacing: The story unfolds at a deliberate pace, which might be unappealing to those who found another work (like LoTm, assuming it's slow) too slow.
If one can appreciate the lack of action and the focus on world-building, the story may not feel sluggish; it's more like a steady journey towards its goal. However, the slow progression could lead to boredom for some, contributing to the lower ratings.
Nonetheless, I wholeheartedly recommend this for a tranquil reading experience. The fast update schedule makes it perfect for daily consumption, which is crucial for consistent readership.
