I'm someone who constantly avoids chinese novels specially cultivation novels, but this comment made me interested in this novel... Since I'm not in the mood to continue LOTM yet and I'm still stacking shadow slave chapters, I am looking for a casual light read, so I'll give this one a shot. This is a very decent novel, a bit of cliché on the plot but well implemented, my only complaint is that the big size of chapters sometimes make it expensive, like 2 fast passes for 1 chapter...

I am really loving this story. Rowan is a very relatable character, and i like the unique fantasy world. It feels like the author put a lot of thought into the world building. The banter between the ML and MC is top notch. Author has a talent for dialogue.
