Woowww author, this book totally brought me out of the usual dominating ml and damsel in distress fl .... It also broke my heart couple of times .... Just give us two happy endings please ............
Will there be an epilogue? I enjoyed the story.
Great story!
The story is very good, but the number of grammatical erros stops the story flow. There are a lot of pronouns errors, such as his, her, their and it gets confusing when reading. I would recommend the author to revise the book and fix these mistakes...
57 chapters 10-30-23
It's really an amazingly well written book
I'm patiently waiting for the downfall of the Hudson's and for them to be smacked right on the first. The amount of Joy I would feel is unsurmountable.
Such a good book. Wish all of the authors books had audio.
I really enjoyed this book it had a lot of unexpected things going on. The ending not so much it felt incomplete needs a part 2
It's a common pattern in Japanese novels where the title sets expectations, but the story takes an entirely different direction. This main character (MC) isn't dark nor are the gods portrayed as overly benevolent. If you were to switch their roles, you could simply call it "The Tale of Two Mischievous Gods, One Dumber Than the Other." The plot follows a formula of a protagonist who starts off OP or resorts to cheating, battling corruption within a church or kingdom or both. Since you can't offer a unique twist, at least give the MC a fresh challenge by having them fight against evil trees. That would make for a more compelling narrative.
Oh, well... I really, really adore this novel, it's like no other! ((//∇//)) The female lead's humor, her antics, and her interactions with the system - oh boy, the system deserves some serious beating! (laughs)
The plot is a breath of fresh air compared to the usual mundane stories. The FL's actions, along with those of the male lead (ML) and the system, keep me on my toes with their unpredictability. ((/\\)/) \\( ٩(‘ω’ )و /\\)//)
Now, onto the exciting part: the ML. He's definitely more than just a character. (Slight spoiler alert!) I'm a big fan of yanderes, you know what I mean ((° ͜ʖ ͡°)). In the recent fourth arc, the ML has been showing some intense behavior, and I can't wait to see how his character develops further.
As the story unfolds, I'm certain there will be even crazier moments, and I live for them! ((° ͜ʖ ͜ʖ ͡°) (° ͜ʖ ͡°) (° ͜ʖ ͡°))
I do want to express my gratitude to the entire translation team for bringing this fantastic novel into our lives. Thank you so much! ((° ͜ʖ ͡°) ~)
I can hardly believe I almost passed on this novel due to the initial description. Frankly, I've grown tired of Tsundere characters, thanks to years of exposure to overly-dramatic anime girls who complicate everything and hold onto their pride stubbornly. However, the numerous five-star reviews piqued my curiosity, making me hesitant. Ultimately, I decided to give it a chance, and boy, was I pleasantly surprised! I couldn't put the book down until the very last chapter – I actually read the entire thing in one sitting, without even pausing for sleep!
To my astonishment, Wen Li – the protagonist – transformed my perception of the Tsundere archetype. She's strong-willed yet kind, tough when necessary, but with优雅举止. Despite being straightforward, she is observant and cares deeply for others. She's independent and self-sufficient, causing no trouble unless absolutely necessary – although she might unintentionally get herself into some situations with Director Yan, hehe.
But what truly stands out is how Wen Li reciprocates Song Yan's love. After all the waiting, she gives him the love he deserves. She heals his wounds, cherishes his memories, and turns his hardships into something magical. She supports him, becoming his sanctuary during nightmares, and fights for him against her family's disapproval.
Song Yan's love for Wen Li is nothing short of extraordinary. It's pure, unwavering, and filled with a deep longing for her affection, which eventually comes true. His devotion is an inspiration.
The supporting characters in this novel are equally well-developed. Each character has depth and a backstory that contributes to their complexity, making them feel like real people rather than mere stereotypes. Even the side stories and fictional films mentioned, like 'Ice City,' evoke genuine emotions; I found myself shedding tears while reading about them, especially considering the relevance to my own experiences.
This author's writing is truly unique, a rarity in the literary world. I've never encountered anything quite like it, and I doubt I will again. I simply cannot get enough of this story. I plan on re-reading it until I know every detail by heart.
Lastly, I must express my gratitude to the translator, Krish728, for bringing this masterpiece to life. Your translations are exceptional, and your explanations of colloquialisms and idioms made the text accessible to readers like me. Your dedication is greatly appreciated! Thank you!
