Why do I feel the female lead is pathetic? And what's up with these alphas always rejecting someone they like because she's weak only to cry buckets later? The book is very interesting though, I like and recommend it.
This was a really, really good story! I was a little worried at the beginning that it was going to be a simple G rated sweet romance story with no true adult moments (lol), but I was pleasantly surprised with the few steamy moments etc throughout!! Absolutely worth a read! Amazing job author :)

While He Zhao is talkative and sociable, Xie Yu is unbothered by others, drawing attention with his striking appearance and charisma.
The supporting cast, including Xie Yu's friends from the "Black Water" area, students of Class 2.3, teachers from ErZhong, like Madame Gu and Old He, adds depth and richness to the narrative, giving it a vibrant soul alongside these two central figures. Overall, this is a delightful story worth exploring.
