Just any xianxia anything you can recommend that has a good pacing and world building
Skip this one. I’ve never commented before, but I am going out of my way, weeks after I stopped reading, to say how unsatisfying this story is. Mc was an unlikable fool and every time he made a decision I would wonder why I was still reading. The women are even more poorly written than most wuxia novels if you can believe it. Resolutions, as weak as they were, often were overturned chapters later. I was hoping for at least some decent ntr, but don’t even bother if that’s why you’re here. I feel bad for the author because I truly wish I could unread this one.
I say funny things and offend people. It doesn’t help…

Coming back to complain how this novel got me hooked on modern day school genre stuff. I can't find another novel like this with a system in modern day school setting that has romance, with sm*t being an added bonus.

Sacred Ruins just gets better with every passing chapter. Chu Feng has to be the most shameless and most likable protagonist ever. He does face-smacking like no one ever does.
Here is one paragraph to describe him (from the novel) :
"Before he use to sell Divine Son, hunted for Saintess, and sell deity meat. Now he does the looting but also collect the protection money. This fellow is simply a feudal bully, bandit and underworld gang chief, really... Rotten to the core, is top villain, big hoodlum!”
Can’t wait for updates loving this so much! Great story line.
