"Why not?" Amirah tilts her head. "That's a waste of potential. I mean, there were plenty of ways the skill would be useful in camp, right?"
The bigger one asks, "What business do you have here kid?"
"I won't stop you. Because I know how it feels." A lonely gaze then was the only emotion left from his eyes that seemed so bright earlier.
Now that was interesting, Kaguya noted. That all sounded like the hospital itself would be staffed by Japanese. A not entirely unreasonable proposition seeing as the people living in the ghettos were unlikely to look kindly upon a large number of Britannians suddenly overrunning one of their few community centers.
John accepted the key card and quickly went to the staff toilet area. Inside, he heard terrifying noises, the sounds of a man screaming and moaning, noises he really wanted to scrub his mind free of. He cautiously knocked on the door.
It's shame that he doesn't smile and looks like an ice block, white pale skin, silver hair, grey eyes like a storm, tall and slim fit. A sight to discover and rediscover again and again.
