This series is actually really good. It's quite an original take on the monster gate/dungeon crawl genre and written pretty well.
One captivating series features a blend of profound misunderstandings that ultimately find resolution, interwoven with somber and melancholic moments, accompanied by well-timed humor. The author frequently employs the theme of self-sacrifice, which adds depth to the narrative. Initially engaging, the plot becomes somewhat predictable as the story progresses. Although I'm not entirely against the romantic elements, the excessive focus on the protagonist's perspective starts to feel repetitive and烦躁, despite his significance to the tale.
Despite reading numerous negative reviews, I decided to give this novel a try. True, the pacing might be slow, but it与众不同 from the typical young adult themes of power, popularity, and material pursuits. This novel caters more to a mature audience, particularly those in the midst of their coming-of-age journey. The protagonist has reached an age where he understands that he isn't exceptional, much like many young adults who enter the workforce and discover their平凡 among others.
What initially captured my interest was the protagonist's determination to rise above his perceived inadequacies. The way he confronts those who belittle him and battles his own self-doubt is where the real gem lies. The emphasis on personal growth and introspection could explain the book's deliberate pace – it's a unique read, appreciated by some as a literary treasure, while others may find it challenging.
Update: Chapters 37 and 38 are nothing short of thrilling – an exhilarating fight sequence that elevates the novel to a whole new level, solidifying its status as a diamond in the literary world.
... next time you better read the story first before make some comments like this. you sound stupid.
Overall great novel, soo suspenseful and captivating
goooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooood
Just a short review. Grammar, so many mistakes, 1/10. World building, honestly it is a mess, 3/10. Characters, for 100 chapters are static, 3/10. Story, well it is ordinary, nothing new here 4/10. Overall 3/10. As a side note, pneumonia can be cured, and the sickness can last up to 3 months not 6 years. Unless you are unlucky and the illness takes a severe form which, if not treated immediately, it is fatal. Author do research next time.
Great book!
