It's not that bad but nor is it good. In the 1st half the mc acts kinda detached, not too cowardly, nor idiotic. But suddenly that guy starts to act like those powerful characters that act all mighty until they get killed by protagonists. Ofcourse the main problems that I face are, 1.mc's enemies turn dumb. It would be fine if everyone here was dumb like all other Chinese LN , but that's not it. The people here have normal iq but mc's enemies turn dumb as if he has max lv. Mind numbing aura. 2.MC seems to have no emotions whatsoever.
Why mc is looking down upon in every place
Thank you , senior ... This junior will remember your guidance . ??
Plz! Iam a beginner and want comment section filled with reviews . So...
This is indeed quite disappointing. The story relies heavily on an unconventional point system and has a poorly developed plot that feels overly clichéd. The main character doesn't come across as likable either. In the early chapters, we witness a familiar trope where the protagonist's girlfriend leaves him for a richer suitor. The protagonist then uses his unfair advantage to confront and intimidate the ex-boyfriend, who starts feeling remorseful about his past actions (ugh). The wealthy guy is portrayed as a typical heartbreaker. It seems to embody many aspects I find unappealing in generic male-dominated novels without any redeeming qualities.
"I absolutely adore this story, especially the yandere male lead - it's always more enjoyable when there are multiple ones! Many people criticize the main character for being weak and emotional, but I find it relatable. It's refreshing to see him express his feelings instead of adapting quickly like other story protagonists. I can't help cringing when the MC effortlessly solves every challenge from the start; it feels unrealistic. However, I must admit, I do appreciate a cute and genuine character like our MC.
While I usually prefer stronger MCs, this one strikes a chord with me. The overbearing nature of the male leads is right up my alley. Your harem setup is something I really enjoy. Love you, harem!"
"Monarch of Time" is an enthralling literary journey that captivates the reader from the very first page. The narrative weaves a compelling tapestry of history and fantasy, with its protagonist's ability to manipulate time leaving me utterly spellbound. The character development is profound, as I found myself emotionally invested in the protagonist's quest for balance. The prose is elegant, painting vivid pictures of both the grandeur of time and the intimate struggles of the human heart. A thought-provoking read that keeps one turning the pages long after the sun sets.
I have read this novel until latest chapter, and there's still no romance
Update plss its been a month
Thanks for the answer. Really appreciate it.
*sniff* So sad that it was completed. Wish there were more chapters! ;-;
Okay my fair take is 5.5/10.
I have to say MC has significant growth he is forgiving and is ruthless and logical.
Another thing is if I remember correctly this novel started trend of transmigrating with biochip trend.
This story was unique and had so much potential but I think author himself didn’t know how to move story forward.
The more you try to read the harder it gets as read through this story has one of the worst power dynamics I think it takes 280+ to get past level 1 wizards after that it is more or less broken. It would appear to me author was pulling random arcs and stuff to move the story forward and it was t*rt*r* to read through whole novel I dont how I did it tool me almost 2 years to read it because I was bored out of my mind. After sometimes the novel doesn’t make any heads or tail to me and is very inconsistent.
Ending was kind of abrupt and left lot to be told.
The superior ver. Of story is Warlock of magus world which does everything 10 times better.
