I'm reading this because it reminded me of 'Transmigrating into the Male Supporting Character's Ex-wife,' which I really enjoyed. Although Cheng Jun shares some similarities with Chen Shu, Cheng Jun seems to be a better character. I'll give it a little more time, but I must admit, I'm finding it boring. How did it receive such high ratings? The writing feels scattered, with scenes thrown in haphazardly. In my current chapter, I came across a moment where the ML says, 'Don't leave me.' I'm wondering, has there been some backstory I missed? You barely interact! It's like I'm being left out of the loop. ? Could you please provide a hint when and where this connection formed?"
"At first, I thought it was adorable because the male lead (ML) was paying attention to the female lead (MC), and their interactions were quite cute. But then, when I reached chapter 3, the unexpected happened - the ML's nose got stuck in a flower hole, getting deeper with each attempt. I couldn't help wondering how he managed to breathe and if his nose had grown to the size of Pinocchio's! Honestly, I'm not sure why the author included that scene, since it seemed out of place amidst all the steamy content."
It's alright, but I must say that the chemistry between the main character (MC) and the love interest (ML) doesn't quite resonate with me. The ending, unfortunately, failed to leave me content, as it seemed like their relationship development was mainly confined to physical aspects. The story almost felt like it ended right at the beginning of their emotional connection.
Another issue I have with novels is when the author spends excessive time, around 30%, describing characters' looks, particularly their attractiveness. This repetition becomes unnecessary and distracts from the plot.
Though I appreciate the ML's affectionate nature towards the MC, it feels somewhat forced. Perhaps I missed something, but ML's sudden display of sweetness struck me as incongruous.
Well on another site it has 1151 Chapters. Haven't read the new ones though. on this site you can only read to like ch 80 before you run into a paywall...
So it is still ongoing and i really hope that the new chapters arrive here soon :D
