Im a sucker for happy endings and this one is it! It was well-written, heartwarming and a very fun book to read! A light-novel but will keep your interest! Thank you for such a good read author!
I need to sit with this imagery for a second because the author dropped something really layered and I think we're all just supposed to keep walking. The system saves Yun Shu by turning into a streak of golden light that enters her forehead. Let's connect the dots: Yun Shu has a heart condition. She's been consuming heart-nourishing essence drops. Her emotional survival depends on this system. And now the system literally merges with her—golden light going into her head, the same way the essence goes into her palm and nourishes her heart. The imagery is consistent: healing comes from something external becoming part of her. There's also the recurring motif of light throughout these chapters. The warm sunlight on her body after getting hired. The golden light of the system. Light as both warmth and survival. And contrast that with the black smoke from the car's hood—another kind of light, destructive, chaotic. The author is playing with light as a dual symbol: it sustains and it threatens. The car accident itself feels symbolic too. Yun Shu freezes. She can't move. This is someone who has lived two lifetimes and still can't react to danger in the moment. The system—this being that represents her connection to something greater, something beyond her human experience—is what moves when she can't. Her heart needs the essence. Her body needs the system. She is literally sustained by things outside herself. That's not just plot, that's a theme about interdependence. And the essence drops? "It nourishes your heart slowly, improving it bit by bit, so you won't notice it." Slow healing. Invisible progress. That's the whole arc of this story, isn't it? You can't see yourself getting better, but you are.
