I started this years ago when it only had 10 new chapters I read it up until it came out with about 115 chapters then I decided to wait until more chapters came out because I couldn't stand the weekly waiting I highly recommend this at least up until that point I don't know anything that happened after that but I look forward to finding out and I definitely recommend it
This book is not complete
Hey, can't you be more a little bit lenient? Why so harsh? Like what the hell?
The book is worth it, the story has the potential I hope the story won't end soon. looking forward for more chapters, I'll never gonna drop this story and will read it till the end.
Hey, welcome again to my latest work (applies to those familiar with my previous works). And to the new reader, welcome aboard. Are you wondering what’s happening this time around? Well, I’ve ventured into the realm of magic and isekai for this newest story of mine. If you’ve heard of or read "The Wizard of Oz," then you probably have an idea of what to expect. I won’t say I copied such works, but it so happens that my ideas intertwine with them. Anyway, I’ve been rambling too much. I hope you all enjoy this new story as I continue to give my best and entertain you all. Thank you for reading and checking out the story.
First off, the title is very deceptive. The Author used the term 'Dragonborn' to draw in people thinking it'd be linked to The Elder Scrolls.
It isn't. It's a sh*tty cliche ridden story with as much creativity and depth to it as a five year old's crayon drawing.
The Protagonist is a insufferable fool with no spine, there is no proper world building or background AT ALL, and it uses so many tropes that if this novel were a building it would be foreclosed then bulldozed.
One of the examples is how the protagonist supposedly was fighting on the front lines against the Elves for five years, witnessing the deaths of many friends and fellow humans but he fell in love at first sight with a Elven Princess from the race that murdered millions of Humans in an unprovoked war of aggression.
Not only that but the Princess of the Elves somehow knew that he was the system user, teleported to him then then betrayed her race by telling him about an upcoming attack on that city simply because she felt his magic dragon transformation due to her super special secret talent and desperarely wanted his dragon c*ck-*cough* I mean dragon magic.
Even worse is how Erend is STILL an incompetant coward that shakes in his boots and freezes up when the Elves attack after five years of fighting on the frontline. He even gets shouted at to remind him to shoot at the enemy in the first chapter!
2/5 Stars.
It’s an ok novel. Atleast better than most in this platform. Reviewed at ch 200
Personal Score - 7/10
MC - vagrant cultivator turned serious loyal soldier. His past life is only significant at the start and with regard to his combat/survival skills. He’s still OP though with edgy/cringe-y moments.
Side Characters - generally bland and predictable but inoffensive. They’re not really vital to the story as almost everything is dependent on the intervention of the MC.
Romance - it’s cute but it was too abrupt and became predictable. MC also suddenly had a goofy personality when it did happen which is kinda weird given the prior chapters leading to that. But he then switches to a cold and uptight personality at will.
World Building - the world is grand, vast, and curiousity inducing. Mechas are a thing but not really a big part of combat as of yet which is weird because it was the focus at the start. It’s
Plot - It’s ok. Nothing ground breaking. Imagine a Starcraft Terran novel but with cultivation levels. One criticism is that the plot is too MC-centric as mentioned earlier.
Dropped at 200 because I’m really not a fan of the loyal and uptight soldier trope. Seems too propaganda-ish to me. Also the plot became uninteresting to me as it everthing became a “serve your country” plot. But it’s good though so give it a shot.

i like this story very interesting, so good
Cultivation stories have probably been around for as long as webnovels existed they might even precede system novels though they have a reputation of being of "Varying quality"so with pancakes making a novel that involves an ancient cultivator we can expect some fresh breeze to that concept and anyone familiar with pancakes's works is expecting quality just like always and so far we are getting exactly that if there is any complaints i might have is that her Murium manner of speaking is a little annoying at first but you get used to it after a while
Not sure since I have not yet read this. But for those who think this kind of webnovel about a webnovel on a webnovel is the first one, then you are wrong. It is already very common in MTl novel for story such as this that it became a genre on each own (acgn writer genre).ex : the era of the second element of literary.story about a tranverseer(transmigator) who goes to alternate reality of japan with no anime, novel, manga, games that you all know. She(female mc) then recreate the otaku culture by herself and even become a seiyuu, singer, game creator etc that is related to the second dimension.most related work can be search with the term "two dimension" "second dimension" "second element" etc in MTL novel.com or [writer] sub genre.you can also search it at Comrademao or Jpmtl too.
