Okay so I need to talk about this one moment because it genuinely wrecked me in the best way. Ji Zhaohe cuts her finger on a rose thorn at the banquet and the Empress immediately orders all the roses removed. On the surface it's just a sweet mother-daughter moment, but think about it—this woman who's been terrorizing young men all night is suddenly treated like fragile glass because she bled. The Empress says 'Silly child, you're so drowsy you'd even dare to touch a thorny rose.' The word 'silly' hits different when you know this character has been a monster. It's like the world is saying: you can be cruel to men, but you can't be hurt. And Ji Zhaohe—our transmigration victim who just wants to survive—realizes the physical pain is REAL. 'A bead of blood welled up on her index finger.' She stares at it numbly. That's when the dread hits her. This isn't a dream anymore. And honestly? That's when I knew she was going to be someone I root for. She's not trying to be a hero. She's just a girl who misses her lab mice and wants to go home. The emotional core of this story isn't about romance at all—it's about a person trying to survive in a world that wants to consume her. The forced marriage to Young Master Shen? That's not a romance setup, that's a survival threat. And yet... I'm already curious about him. This is a great and interesting book to read. l like ... it. I will rate it with 5 stars.

Very poorly written. The author can’t keep up with her own character’s names and it becomes very confusing. The errors are plentiful enough that I find myself attempting to correct all the errors and this keeps me from becoming absorbed enough to enjoy the story.
Are we getting an update soon??? ?
Im sorry, it has potential but there are to many text errors and underlines in the story that really points to inexperience in the author.
Love this book cannot wait for the next chapter
