ORDINARYPERSON0
I think u havent watched enough drama series of america. Most rednecks call women babe in america.
I am at chapter 240 and I am unsure whether to continue or not! I started reading this novel after seeing so many positive reviews but there are so many things I didn't get. My main complaint is the way MC is doing things. First off, he says he wants money. But what does he do? He keeps on giving equipments and other components willy-nilly to his teammates or sells them much less than at market price. He was at the top of ranking but just to keep a low profile he doesn't try to use his fame to earn more money. Seriously! Fame also serves as a deterrent or that is what I felt. MC stole his bro Breeze godly equipment and so due to guilt he showers him with many godly equipment. In regards to information regarding dungeon hunting and monsters or quest guides at least say that as a thief you scouted, researched and complied information from library, forums and during actual dungeon runs. Let the team wipe out a few times and then you could say you found a way. I admit I don't have knowledge to rightly say I am correct but I don't know. I am a reader who saw many discrepancies and just needed to vent. Why is the MC not starting a guild as others have suggested? Sure the upkeep is high but with his supernatural knowledge your profits will be higher. As far as I understood his main goal is to earn money and become a professional player. He isn't acting like it.
Could anyone tell me if all the above complaints are resolved further ahead, before I read more?
P.S: I am not just bashing or nitpicking. There are many things the author has written wonderfully. It's just these small things when considered together became a huge mess!
This book was an absolute delight, filled with laughter and lightheartedness. The ghost and supernatural elements were seamlessly integrated into the characters' lives, making for a captivating read. However, what truly stood out for me were the characters, particularly the male lead (ML).
Initially, I was hesitant to pick up the book due to the summary, fearing a clichéd, overbearing character. To my pleasant surprise, the ML turned out to be a true gentleman, a dreamboat, and an epitome of respect towards the female lead (FL). His chivalry and consideration were heartwarming, and it was refreshing to see the FL take charge in their pursuit, even though the ML had genuine affection for her.
The FL herself was a strong and independent character, capable of defending herself and exuding confidence in all aspects of her life. Her presence was invigorating.
The supporting characters, especially Wu Lai, were lovable and added depth to the story. His character development and humorous antics had me in stitches. The ending notes featuring him were hilarious and touching.
In conclusion, I believe there should be more male leads like this one. If you appreciate FLs who are self-sufficient, this book is a must-read. Despite the absence of confrontational scenes, the storytelling and plot progression were exceptional. Kudos to the author and translator for a fantastic work.
So I finally finished, know any similar novels?
bro the translator change ruined it for me, there are some characters who had their names completely changed. so i just stopped reading it
I suggest you read Black Tech Internet Cafe. Its my most favorite comedy parody along with Pet King.
same, i dropped after his autism cured.
Something like 'My Girlfriend From Turquoise Pond Requests My Help After My Millennium Seclusion'. But, a bit lacking.
The story is so emotional and magnificent.
Awesome story and well writen. All characters are in the right place. I will recommend this to my friends. Hope to read more of this. Good work
This is a good story, it is well-paced with mysteries that leave the reader asking. However, the character design and world background need a little more work. The story development became better the more you read so it looks good so far.
Keep on writing
Did you read what I said? If Japan didn't get any gun know-how from the US that originated from their former European roots that used Chinese-invented gunpowder and a barrel to shoot bullets, it would have been impossible to invade China in the first place with their much smaller force than the Chinese.
