Let's be real—Yan Huaijin's dialogue is the highlight of these chapters. The man has ZERO chill and I am here for it. "What? Did I interrupt the perfect picture of a handsome gentleman and a beautiful lady enjoying the moon together?" — This is peak Yan Huaijin. He's jealous, he's wounded, and he's masking it with sarcasm like a pro. But what makes it work is that underneath the bite, you can HEAR the hurt. He's not just being mean for fun—he's genuinely confused and upset that she's being warm with someone else. And Pei Yunting's responses are perfectly calibrated. She's not cruel, she's just... done. "What exactly is wrong with you today? Stop talking nonsense." She's exhausted by his theatrics, which is hilarious because she's the one causing them. The Empress's dialogue is a different flavor entirely—warm, knowing, layered with maternal wisdom. "Wanwan is exceptionally perceptive in most matters, but when it comes to matters of the heart... she's a little slow." She's watching her son and Pei Yunting dance around each other and she's AMUSED. The line about wanting him to marry her because "she willingly chooses him—not because of a single imperial decree" is the kind of dialogue that makes you nod appreciatively. Yan Huaize speaks differently from both of them—softer, more measured, with an underlying current of sadness. His voice is distinct, and that's the mark of good dialogue writing.
nice story
please update, I love this book
I love the way Eros character is portrayed...also the plot is on another level
She is heartless. Even if she doesn't want the man, it's not a criteria to get her child aborted. I can't wait to see her expression when she knows her ex-husband real identity.
Amazing book. Wow, I can't wait to carry on reading. I can highly recommend this book writer can really tell a story, which is really great
