Allow me to address any misunderstandings that might arise from misleading reviews. This novel is certainly not a tragedy. Tragic themes are not central, and throughout the story, no genuinely tragic events will unfold. That's why the "Tragedy" tag isn't applied. The protagonist will indeed encounter numerous challenges and hardships, but appearances of despair should not deceive you. Reflecting back, nearly every adversity turns out to have a positive aspect or offers an unexpected opportunity. Virtually all perceived setbacks carry hidden silver linings or serve as disguised blessings. The true tragedies that happen pre-story might not persist in their severity.
Typically, I don't engage in reviewing novels; perhaps just a rating would suffice. However, this particular work merits a strong critique for numerous reasons.
Firstly, let's address the翻译和编辑的质量, which is undoubtedly subpar. But that's not the heart of the issue.
The story revolves around a character with no distinct identity who reincarnates as an anime figure, beloved by oddballs and despised within the narrative. The protagonist, a fan who has watched the series, decides to intervene and alter events, becoming the main character (aided by their knowledge of the plot). The main character, though initially informed by the anime, becomes a carbon copy with a few minor advantages, attempting to avoid the tragic ending.
The crux of my complaint lies in the lack of originality. The MC replicates the anime character so closely that they become indistinguishable, apart from possessing past memories. Even if the pig retained its memory and tried to change things, it would still yield the same result. Constantly being reminded that the MC is an anime enthusiast is frustrating.
Now, onto the 'anime story cheat.' The reliance on intimate knowledge of the series is absurd. While exposition is necessary, it's unrealistic to expect a character to recall every detail from a decades-long anime, especially those of supporting characters. It's a contrived plot device that rings false.
The chapters themselves are erratic, jumping between unrelated topics, leaving readers confused. Their brevity is another issue – many are so short that they can be read in a single glance, lacking any depth or progression.
Characters in the story are bland, one-dimensional, and predictable. The interactions between them feel forced and lack authenticity.
In conclusion, I cannot recommend this book due to its numerous flaws and unsatisfactory storytelling.
Is there any romance? If yes, please tell me that it is not a harem. Doesn't look like it will be like that but it's better to know sooner than later.
no romance? let's give it a shot then
