The flow of the chapters are just horrible. The more i read the more i am confused what is happening.
It's disappointing when a book's title doesn't align with its content. Instead of "Survival Guide," it should be renamed as "Shetty Businessman." The author seems to struggle with portraying a business setting, which is evident from their lack of understanding. I recommend they take some business courses or read authoritative business literature to improve.
Initially, the main character possessed remarkable observation skills or an acute intuition, but that aspect fades away quickly. In one plot arc, the protagonist attempts a Ponzi scheme, but their execution is拙劣无比 – the real-life version would be far more captivating. The story's progression from a medieval setting to a modern-day fight involving jets is jarring and unsatisfying. The ending feels abrupt and leaves readers questioning its purpose.
I've always had a fondness for this novel, and the chemistry between the main characters is truly captivating. Their relationship is filled with goals and growth. The male lead's enthusiasm is endearing, as he constantly shows consideration for his love's feelings and ensures they're both on the same page. He's honest, sweet, and the one who initiates declarations of love. He never pressures her and respects her pace, which is a refreshing change. I'm eagerly anticipating the events in this volume.

Firstly, I must clarify that I continued reading this for the dramatic and confrontational aspects, not because of the romantic elements. The main issue I had was the age difference - the female lead (FL) is 15 and the male lead (ML) is 21, and he had already developed inappropriate feelings for her before she reached puberty. His overt displays of sexual attraction and the incestuous undertones were unsettling.
However, what I did appreciate was the FL's strong character. She stood up against bullies unapologetically, and her wit and assertiveness in handling her enemies were entertaining. Her loyalty to her family and protectiveness of them were commendable traits.
The plot, while sometimes slow due to excessive drama, kept my interest because of the FL's ability to expose and confront her adversaries effectively. The presence of supporting characters like Yu Si Yu and Tao Hong brought a welcome relief from the intense drama at Yu Manor, especially towards the end.
Despite these positive points, the romance between the leads was the main reason I deducted stars, which is why I rate this novel 3.5 out of 5.
