Shameless 5-star author review here, what I want to say is that this novel's MC is in both crafting and fighting while the crafting part is dominating. There will vome a time when he build things the world can only imagine. Please do try the novel as it's not that bad.^^
I was able to read it to a point. Although I'm not a fan of transmigration stories and all. I mist say it is well written. And organised. To those fan of such stories, you could give it a try.
It has always been a pleasure to read stories similar to the Korean ones that are popular now, especially I remember the novella "Nove's Extra

There's a symbol running through this entire section that I can't stop thinking about: the gold. On the surface, the gold is a MacGuffin. Everyone wants it. Nobody has seen it. It drives the conflict and the conspiracy theory Chen Qing invents. But the real question the story keeps asking is: what is actually valuable in this world? A gram of gold is worth sixteen yuan—half a month's wages. But a toothpaste tube is worth one cent. A hidden five cents buys half a pound of cornmeal. Four steamed buns keep two children alive for two days. The story is constantly juxtaposing enormous, abstract wealth (gold, capitalism, conspiracy) against tiny, concrete survival (cents, buns, firewood). The gold represents everything that kills people in this era—greed, suspicion, class warfare. But the toothpaste tube represents everything that keeps people alive—resourcefulness, patience, the willingness to scrape together whatever you can find. Even the firewood carries this meaning. The original host made the kids walk ten kilometers to chop wood. Chen Qing says she'll 'figure something out.' One approach treats children as labor. The other treats them as people worth protecting. The method of acquiring warmth becomes a moral statement. And then there's the gold Chen Qing herself earned—every cent through blood, sweat, and tears in her previous life. She'd be heartbroken if the original host blew it all on leather shoes to compete with Tian Mengya. The irony is almost poetic: the thing she values most (honest labor) is being wasted by the person whose body she now inhabits. The story seems to be asking whether value comes from the object itself or from what you're willing to sacrifice for it.
First things first I am dropping this book is great. The world building is well done and everything seems organic with nothing being too forced. There is nothing much to nitpick about. But unfortunately i am dropping this book as it is too slow for my liking and goes against the traditional power fantasy ideas. Its great reading power in numbers once in a while but this is just not my type. Hoping for the best for the author but I will have to sign out.
Author....oh...author....Why are you being such a turtle...Please release chapters timely.................Anyway new chapter is pretty good?
The MC's name is McGee.
just one of the numerous trash in here....after being trapped in the game for a thousand years, the first worry that came into his mind was how he won't be able to catch up to the players...wow, just wow...
why are the chapters paid, 40 chapters are free, the rest 350 chapters are paid? why so?Shame on you? A year has passed and nothing has changed.
Dull, boring, repetitive.First chapters looked interesting and fresh. But very fast everything came down to "just yet another generic novel".There is no goal, no conflict, no struggles, no mysteries.Nothing.The whole story about MC undertakes missions "go from place A to place B and retrieve some thing
