Before embarking on this novel, please note: I discovered quite unexpectedly that chapters 29 and beyond are pay-to-read, which was disheartening. My previous experience with a similar ambush – being forced to pay for continued reading – left a sour taste. I made the initial payment, but then noticed the second charge was more than the first. When a third demand appeared, I decided against it, as the cost kept escalating. I wasn't sure how many more times they'd try to extract money (I had already spent $12 at that point), and there was no mention of the author receiving a portion of the proceeds. Since then, I've chosen to support with Kofi donations instead. It's a shame, as I genuinely appreciated the calming and authentic portrayal of school life in the story.

I don't understand why some authors like to ruin potentially good work more than often. This story could have been great if it was not so d*mn inconsistent every time.
This is a munchkin novel if you want to see some action and read something if you have nothing else and you are in no condition to spend two brain cells and read a good novel. But you won't like it the next day because it I'd that type of novel. Good at start and just gets worse
