It is not that something is skipped, only that 114 does not go there, it is a chapter that should go later, so if you want to make your reading fluid, read 113 and then 115, before reading 114.
Readers are like that usually. I read the synopsis, the comment section a bit, and give the novel a try if it has a decent amount of chapters and seems good
